MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday, 1st February, 2026.

Today's discourse is interesting but delicate. We ask God for our insatiable needs and forget that there is also a place for giving. There is a need to give to God and fellow men. When you give to God and His work on earth, you are equally giving to men and blessing lives.

Giving is an act of gratitude for all that God has done for you. One important thing you should always give to God is praise; God inhabits the praises of His people and His hands will be stretched forth to bless you more. You can also give to God's work through your offerings, tithes, vows and heartfelt donations, knowing that God alone can give wealth that endures. Have you forgotten that there is nothing that you have or possess except by Him and through Him? Honour God with your substance, beloved.

There are many that become strangers to God, His work and His house once their prayers are answered. Do you ever think of giving something tangible to the ongoing project in your church? Do you ever think it is right to bless the Pastor that God is using to bless you? Have you ever considered it necessary to give to the needy and the less privileged? Can you share with people around you to bring smiles to their faces and put an end to lack and poverty in their lives? No matter your financial level, you can still give. You never know the gift that will open your heaven and pave way for your greatness.

When you give cheerfully, you increase but when you withhold, it leads to poverty. Many have given sacrificially to God and received opened doors of healing, breakthroughs, lifting and so on. Physical and spiritual stinginess leads nowhere. Give cheerfully and bountifully to God and expect the same and more (2 Corinthians 9:7-9). Don't give out of constraint or give grudgingly. Don't give left overs to God. What you give is what you receive! Give to God and be happy you did. Bless fellow men and God will multiply it back to you.

[8] So Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.”
[9] Then Jesse made Shammah pass by. And he said, “Neither has the Lord chosen this one.”
[10] Thus Jesse made seven of his sons pass before Samuel. And Samuel said to Jesse, “The Lord has not chosen these.”
[11] And Samuel said to Jesse, “Are all the young men here?” Then he said, “There remains yet the youngest, and there he is, keeping the sheep.” And Samuel said to Jesse, “Send and bring him. For we will not sit down till he comes here.”
[12] So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!”
[13] Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel arose and went to Ramah.

God sent Samuel to anoint another king over Israel since Saul had messed up. This king was in the house of Jesse but nobody recognised him. In fact, when Samuel stated his mission, David's father did not think it important to call him. He rather presented the other sons. However, God was determined to choose David. Likewise, you yourself may be looked down on because nobody thinks you're worth anything. I encourage you to note that man does not have the final verdict. God's opinion is more important than that of any man, including your family members and closest relatives. So, hold on to what God has said in His word concerning you.

Samuel anointed David in the midst of his brethren and the Spirit of the Lord came upon him from that day. The anointing of God upon David moved him to the palace for service. Believers need to learn that the first purpose of the anointing is service, to God and humanity. David received a mark of visibility. When the anointing of God rests upon a man or woman, he or she begins to excel extraordinarily.

David did not become the king of Israel immediately he was anointed. He still had battles to fight before mounting the throne. However, he came out victorious because the Lord was with him. He was eventually anointed two more times as king over Judah (2 Samuel 2:4) and over all Israel (2 Samuel 5:3).

Beloved, every true believer in Christ carries an anointing of God (1 John 2:20,27). You may not be anointed as a king over a nation but remember, you've been made a king and a priest unto God (Revelation 1:6). Ask the Lord to help you walk in the fullness of that calling. A full realisation of your kingship status in Christ will prevent you from doing certain things because you know they do not befit royalty. May the Lord help you to walk worthy of the anointing on your head everyday, in Jesus' name.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday, 30th January, 2026.

The man, David, is a phenomenal character. There are so many lessons to learn from him that are relevant for believers today. Even though he operated under the law, he lived as one who had proper understanding of the ways of God and was a recipient of uncommon grace. Little wonder God described him as a man after His own heart.

There's something interesting about David's genealogy. It would seem his lineage was polluted because his ancestor, Judah, slept with his daughter in law, Tamar, and had twins - Perez and Zerah. According to the law in Deuteronomy 23:2, these children were not allowed in the house of God until the tenth generation. David was the tenth generation from Perez so the curse was lifted from him. There were also foreigners in his family tree. This serves as proof that God does not discriminate. All who come to Him through Christ are accepted and saved.

David was the last son of Jesse, the one who was left in the wilderness to care for sheep because he was too young to take up more serious responsibilities like joining the national army of Israel. This young man who started from the wilderness eventually rose to prominence; he became the king of Israel, the sweet psalmist of Israel.

David was multi-talented and he used every one of his talents for the glory of God. Herein lies a great lesson for believers today. Every gift God has placed in your life is for His glory. It doesn't matter if you're currently in the wilderness; that is, you are at a point where nobody recognises you. Do everything as if there's an audience watching you; this is important because heaven can see everything you do even if nobody is physically present. Faithfulness in secret would eventually lead to open recognition.

Over the next few days, we would examine some lessons from the life of this great man. I urge you to open your heart as we dive into this study of Israel's greatest king. We will study his positive traits and imbibe them; we will also learn from his flaws. May the Lord open your heart to receive from Him, in Jesus' name.

[26] Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
[27] Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
[28] “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
[29] and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
[30] Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
[31] “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
[32] For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
[33] But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday, 29th January, 2026.

Today, we are looking at other wealth-building strategies for Christians. Beloved, you must avoid excessive love of money. While the Bible does not teach that money itself is evil, it cautions us against the love of money and the pursuit of wealth at all costs. Christians should avoid placing their trust in money, which can easily become an idol. That is the real danger. 1 Timothy 6:10 tells us that the love of money is the root of all evil because it drives some people to do unimaginable things just to get money, and they end up in a lot of trouble. When wealth becomes the primary focus of life, it can lead to spiritual destruction. Christians should seek contentment in Christ, regardless of their financial situation.

Another important strategy you should use to make and grow or build wealth is to diversify your investments. Diversification helps every investor reduce risk. Even the Bible encourages us to spread out our resources to minimise risk is echoed in various parts of the Bible (Ecclesiastes 11:1-2, Proverbs 27:23-24). Christians can reduce the risks associated with relying on one source of income or one investment strategy by diversifying.

Finally, I enjoin you to trust in God's provision and timing. Wealth-building should be done trusting and acknowledging that God is the great provider and the one who gives us the power to make wealth. There will be seasons of abundance and times of scarcity, but in all situations, God is faithful (Philippians 4:19). Christians should trust that God will provide for their needs as they seek His will in their finances. By prioritising God, working hard, living within one's means, saving and investing wisely, practising generosity, avoiding the love of money, diversifying investments, and trusting in God's provision, we can build wealth that honours God and serves others. In all things. The goal is to remain faithful to God, who is the ultimate source of wealth and security.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday, 28th January, 2026.

Beloved, we are still on the topic, "Wealth Building Strategies for Christians." Today, we continue with the third strategy:

The third strategy you need to apply is to live within your means and avoid debt. One of the clearest biblical principles for wealth-building is to avoid debt and live within your means. Debt can lead to financial bondage and hinder your ability to save or invest wisely. Proverbs 22: 7 says, "The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." Christians are encouraged to be careful with spending and avoid unnecessary debt. Living within your means allows you to save, invest, and give generously without being burdened by the weight of financial obligations.

Also, you must cultivate the habit of saving and investing wisely. Building wealth also involves saving and investing with wisdom. The Bible encourages wise planning and laying up resources for the future. Ecclesiastes 11:2 says, "Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth." Saving and investing are crucial for long-term wealth-building. You can create structures such as an emergency fund, investing in stocks or real estate, or saving for retirement. Christians should be wise stewards of their resources. However, the Bible also cautions against placing too much trust in material wealth.

In addition, you need to practise generosity and charity. One of the most important wealth-building strategies for Christians is to be generous and practise charity. Wealth should not be hoarded but used to bless others. God wants us to be generous, and He promises that those who give generously will be blessed in return (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Acts 20:35 says it is more blessed to give than to receive. Generosity opens the door to divine blessings and creates opportunities for wealth to flow in. When we share with those in need, we align ourselves with God's will and build treasures in heaven rather than on earth.

Building wealth is a common goal for many people. But Christians must understand that they have to build their wealth in a way that aligns with biblical principles. Wealth-building, when done rightly, is not about selfish accumulation but about being faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us. Below are some key wealth-building strategies for Christians based on the Scriptures:

First, you must put God first in your wealth-building. The foundation of wealth-building is recognising that everything we have belongs to God. The Bible teaches that our wealth is a gift from God, and we should prioritise Him in our financial decisions. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine." When you place God at the centre of your financial life, He will provide for your needs and guide your steps. This means consistently seeking His will, praying for wisdom in your financial decisions, and being generous with what He provides.

Second, you must work diligently and skilfully. Wealth does not come from laziness or a desire for a "get-rich-quick" scheme. The Bible teaches the importance of hard work and skill in providing for one's needs. Proverbs 14:23 says, "In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury." Work is a blessing from God, and Christians should take pride in their labour, doing everything to the glory of God (Colossians 3:23). By developing expertise in a given field, working hard, and being consistent, a Christian can build wealth. Proverbs 12:11 says, "He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding."

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday, 26th January, 2026.

Every believer is expected to be committed to every programme of the church that will enhance spiritual growth, maturity, and advancement in every sphere of life. However, there is one task that supercedes every other spiritual engagement of the church, and that task, which is also uppermost in God's scale of preference is soul winning, which can be carried out either through evangelistic or missionary activities. The expectation of God is that all Christians must be committed to soul winning. Unfortunately, there are many believers who are not showing any interest whatsoever in this sacred service of God. The truth is that you can not be profitable to God until you begin to see yourself as a stakeholder in the Kingdom business of soul winning.

Meanwhile, in evangelistic or missionary engagements, there are three well-defined areas of commitment - the Going, the Groaning, and the Giving. In the first, you are expected to go out to the world, or wherever God has placed you, and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people who are yet to accept Him as their Lord and Saviour. But in going, you also must be a genuine and committed believer, otherwise you will be endangering your life and exposing yourself to demonic attacks like the seven sons of Sceva who desired to propagate the gospel of Jesus without first experiencing salvation themselves.

The second aspect, which is groaning, is equally important. This has to do with you engaging the instrument of Intercessory and warfare prayers in securing the release of souls that are in the web of sin and satanic afflictions. You also win and capture villages, cities, towns, and nations for God in your prayers (Psalm 2:8). You can also support other Mission endeavours prayerfully. The last area of commitment in soul winning venture is giving. That is, financial support. Luke 8:3 tells of certain women who were supporting the evangelistic work of Jesus Christ out of their substance. You too must strive to give in support of soul winning, no matter how little.

[1] What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?
[2] Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
[3] Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
[4] Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
[5] For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
[6] knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
[7] For he who has died has been freed from sin.
[8] Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,
[9] knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.
[10] For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.
[11] Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
[12] Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
[13] And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.
[14] For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday, 25th January, 2026.

Sanctification is the next unavoidable experience that follows our salvation reality. It is the indepth work of the Holy Spirit in the heart of a follower of Jesus, cutting off and rooting out every entrenched pattern of sin and stronghold of adamic nature that is in enmity with life in the Spirit. It then follows that if you claim that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you have to seek the blessing of sanctification. What you need to understand is that sanctification is God's divine method of effecting the complete deliverance of a believer from the power of sin. The foundation is laid at Calvary, at the foot of the Cross in repentance.

In sanctifying you, God saves you from the oppressive dominion of sin and its practice. He fills you with the Holy Spirit and the grace to be steadfast in your walk with Him, living in obedience to His Word. Why is God doing that spiritual operation in the lives of His children? He is doing that because He desires that every believer should mature and become more Christ-like in every facet of his life. He wants the believer to become free from the control and dominion of sin.

Sanctification, therefore, is separation from sin, the world, and everything that is contrary to Jesus Christ, contrary to the life of righteousness, contrary to God's Word, and drawing near to God in a close and intimate fellowship. Sanctification is the means to becoming holy and consecrate oneself to God, separating oneself and having intimate fellowship with God, serving Him gladly through prayer, worship, study of the word of God and loving service.

The results of sanctification are gloriously awesome. Your life will carry the beauty of Jesus. The sweet fragrance of the Holy Spirit will begin to flow out of you. Your sensitivity to the Holy Spirit will become heightened. The flame of the Spirit's fire will be burning in you. You will become a living sacrifice. Your authority as a believer will become more pungent and effective. The peace and rest which have been eluding you will automatically become your possessions. Are you born again? Have you received sanctification?

[2] Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
[3] “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.
[4] And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
[5] So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan.
[6] The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook.
[7] And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
[8] Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,
[9] “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.”
[10] So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, indeed a widow was there gathering sticks. And he called to her and said, “Please bring me a little water in a cup, that I may drink.”
[11] And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, “Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand.”
[12] So she said, “As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die.”
[13] And Elijah said to her, “Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.
[14] For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.’ ”
[15] So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday, 24th January, 2026.

God has made a promise that no genuine child of His would lack any good thing for long. God used the ravens to feed Elijah when he called for a famine upon the land. Strange! Ravens are voracious birds who would eat the food and never get it to the owner, but because they were on divine assignment, they dared not eat the food that was meant for God's servant. They delivered as sent. God visited the widow of Zarephath through His prophet, Elijah. Even though she wanted to eat the last food with her son and die, God stepped in. She obeyed the divine instructions from the prophet and she prospered.

On another occasion, God fed Elijah in the wilderness when he was running away from Jezebel (1 Kings 19:5-8). God gave him that food to renew his strength. Even though Elijah had come to his wit's end and was discouraged, he received a fresh supply of strength to carry out heaven's new assignment for him. God gives His people food to empower them to fulfil their divine destinies and to carry out divine assignments. When God feeds you, you are divinely nourished and equipped, such that you are physically better than your mates and others around you. Divine nourishment makes a great difference. It gives strength and makes you wiser than your contemporaries.

Ultimately, Jesus Himself is the Bread of Life, and whoever feeds on that heavenly Bread will never go hungry. The Bread is the Word of God. The word of God gives life and joy to all those who find it. It gives satisfaction to all who are spiritually hungry. The word of God has all the answers and the direction you need for every area of your life. Beloved, endeavour to feed first on this divine meal and your life will not remain the same again, in Jesus' name.

[13] But He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
[14] For there were about five thousand men. Then He said to His disciples, “Make them sit down in groups of fifty.”

MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday, 23rd January, 2026.

God is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. He provides all our needs in all areas of life. When He does, you will not lack any good thing. Rather, you will experience abundance up to the point of overflowing. This is the power and ability of the awesome God whom we serve to care and provide for His children.

God knows how to feed His people when they are hungry, just like He attends to other areas of our needs. While in the wilderness, God provided manna for the Israelites. It was the food of angels. He commanded them not to store the food except on the day preceding the Sabbath day because God provides for His beloved children on a daily basis (Exodus 16:14-26). There is always a fresh provision for today. His mercies and provisions are new every morning.

Today's text shows another instance of feeding through divine means. The disciples of Jesus saw impossibility, considering the crowd and the little food available. It was supposed to be for one person or at the most, two. But Jesus saw possibility, because He has the power to make a little become much. He instructed the disciples to get the people seated. He lifted the food, looked to heaven, prayed and blessed the food. The disciples went ahead to share the food. Behold, the people were not only satisfied, but there was a leftover of twelve baskets.

This kind of miracle will happen in your life if you allow God to feed you. He is the God of divine provision. He knows what you need and how to provide it. When you are for Christ, you will never know lack (Psalm 34:10). No matter the state of your country's economy, God will feed, clothe and supply you and your family with your needs. When God feeds you, you will never be hungry or thirsty. He gives you the bread of heaven and you drink from the fountain of life. Hunger and thirst will never find expression in your life, be it physically or spiritually. Most importantly, you receive life eternal when God feeds you.
