PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:

The goodness of God shall be your reality every day of your life, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday 1st July 2025.

One of the blessings God pronounced on His children in the Bible is that they will spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure. God’s desire is to make you experience His goodness all year round (peace, prosperity, progress, good health and sound mind, divine protection and longevity).

A full and plentiful harvest is the crown of the year; and this springs from the unmerited goodness of God. God’s goodness is essential in the journey of every man. We see His goodness in the sunshine and rainfall we enjoy. We see it in the health-giving weather and seasons as they change. We see it in our sleeping and waking up moments. We also see it in our going out and coming in daily, weekly, monthly and yearly. The songwriter said: “All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small; all things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all.” The truth is that the Lord has made all beautiful and good things available for us to enjoy. We are objects of His love and heirs of His kingdom.

Are you a believer and do you live in the will of God? You are entitled to the goodness of God. The psalmist identified two attributes of God and used them to praise Him. In Psalm 136:1, He said, “I give thanks to the Lord for He is good and His mercy endures forever.” You need the goodness and mercy of God and I do also. With God’s goodness and mercy at work in your life, life will be fruitful and fulfilling for you. All things will work together for good in all areas of your life and it will always be well with you. If the enemy rages against you, God will turn the tide against him and make what he plans for evil against you turn out for your good.

I encourage you to give your life to Jesus Christ (if you have not already done so) and join the Psalmist in making that faith-filled and demon-chasing declaration: “Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the presence of the Lord forever and ever.”

God will crown every moment, day, week, month and year of your life with goodness, in Jesus’ name.

MONDAY 30TH JUNE 2025 - IS THERE NO GOD IN ISRAEL?

MFM MOUNTAIN TOP LIFE DEVOTIONAL

MONDAY 30TH JUNE 2025

TOPIC: IS THERE NO GOD IN ISRAEL?

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:

2 Kings 17:1-18:12; Acts 20:1-38; Psalm 148:1-14; Proverbs 18:6-7

FIRE SCRIPTURE:

2 Kings 1:3-4

3. But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

4. Now therefore thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.

MEMORY VERSE:

Jeremiah 17:5

Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:

The man that trusts God wholeheartedly and obeys Him completely has nothing to fear.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP:

Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:

I decree that the grace to run and not faint and the power to finish gloriously will be yours from today, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday 30th June 2025.

Foundational problems account for over sixty percent of cases that deliverance ministers grapple with in the lives of people. Except when deliberate and decisive solutions are sought to foundational problems, the victims often suffer disastrous consequences and end up failures in life. The fact that what destroyed their forebears will catch up with them and destroy them is certain. That is why a foremost minister of God would counsel people to pray that God send His fire to the roots of their lives.

Ahaziah succeeded his father, Ahab, who reigned over Israel in Samaria. His parents were chronic idol worshippers, but he didn’t do anything to change his ungodly foundation. Eventually, the power of idolatry in his roots caught up with him. The Bible says that he did evil in the sight of the Lord, for he walked in the way of his parents and served Baal. In the course of time, Ahaziah fell down from his upper chamber and was sick. Although he was king over Israel, Ahaziah did not put the God of Israel first in his quest for healing and restoration. 2 Kings 1:2 says that he sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub, the god of Ekron, whether he shall recover from his disease. God’s angel instructed Elijah to accost King Ahaziah’s messengers with a terrible judgment that he would not survive the sickness.

There are several lessons for us to learn from Ahaziah’s experience. First, he missed the wonderful opportunity to get divine healing by seeking help from Baalzebub, the god of Ekron, when the God that answers by fire, the God of Israel, and His prophet, Elijah, were available to him. Although he later sent messengers to call Elijah, it was on a second thought. It was his plan B. Who do you call or approach first whenever you have a challenge? Is it an influential relative, a rich uncle, a packet of medicine, an herbalist, or a god somewhere? You will be guilty of misplacing your trust and putting something or someone else in the place of God. You are not better than Ahaziah. Don’t put your trust in the arm of the flesh; believe in God’s unfailing and all-sufficient power!

SUNDAY 29TH JUNE 2025 - DANGER OF PRAYING AMISS

MFM MOUNTAIN TOP LIFE DEVOTIONAL

SUNDAY 29TH JUNE 2025

TOPIC:

DANGER OF PRAYING AMISS

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:

2 Kings 15:1-16:20; Acts 19:13-41; Psalm 147:1-20; Proverbs 18:4-5

FIRE SCRIPTURE:

Judges 16:27-30

27. Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.

28. And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

29. And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

30. And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

MEMORY VERSE:

Matthew 7:7

Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek and ye shall find; knock and the door shall be opened unto you.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:

We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP:

Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:

I prophesy that henceforth you will move from a time of prayer to a life of prayer, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday 29th June 2025.

Prayer is the greatest privilege that God has made available to man. It brings God’s presence, power, resources, and awesome ability to bear in human situations. Prayer changes things. Jabez’s prayer turned his destiny around and rewrote his history. Prayer turned Hannah from an object of mockery to a celebrity. Till today, her prayer, tenacity of purpose, unwavering faith, and her vow to give her desired man-child back to God in service remain faith-lifting. Both Jabez and Hannah got great answers to their prayers because they obtained mercy and prayed aright. Those who are not in right standing with God and who pray amiss never get the best that heaven gives. However, people who do not have a prayer lifestyle often end up as preys to the enemy. Prayerless people are usually powerless people. To be prayerless is to run the affairs of one’s life without the input of heaven. Such a life is a disaster waiting to happen.

Samson was a judge in Israel. An angel announced his birth. He was endowed with supernatural strength. Once the Spirit of God came upon him, he would take on an army and defeat them. He was a one-man riot squad. However, Samson’s lifestyle showed gross indiscipline and disobedience to the laws of God. The major prayer that was recorded against his name in the Bible was when the Philistines had captured him and had plucked out his two eyes. Because it was not his custom to pray, Samson prayed amiss. He said, “Let me die with the Philistines.” God gave him his request. He died with his enemies.

Do your prayer requests and prayer points limit God? Let your request to God demonstrate your faith that He can do all things and that His power is absolute. That was what Moses did and the Red Sea was parted; it was what Joshua did and the walls of Jericho fell down flat. Jonah stayed in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights. It was a very precarious condition, yet he prayed and believed in God’s unfailing power to deliver to the uttermost. His cry for mercy yielded results. God commanded the fish to vomit him. He didn’t limit God, neither did he pray amiss. Whenever you have to pray, engage the help of the Holy Spirit who knows your infirmities and what you ought to pray. It is dangerous to pray amiss; avoid its needless pain!

MFM Daily Prayer Points 29th June 2025

MORNING

1. I receive the grace to pray without ceasing and win the world for Christ, in the name of Jesus.

2. I shall not pray amiss, in the name of Jesus.

3. I receive the unction to pray and get the right results, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. Holy Spirit, teach me to pray targeted and effectual fervent prayers that avail much, in the name of Jesus.

5. Let my prayer arrows meet their targets, in the name of Jesus.

6. Father, turn my prayer to testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

7. I receive the unusual grace and faith to pray until I receive great results, in the name of Jesus.

FIRE SCRIPTURE:

Acts 7:60

Matthew 18:21-22

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:

To forgive is to set a prisoner free and realize that the prisoner was you.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP:

Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:

I break the hold and chain of unforgiving spirit upon your life, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday 28th June 2025.

Forgiving others is a major theme in Christianity. Through the sacrificial offering of Jesus Christ, God forgave the sins of man. The Son of God shed His blood and died for us to earn us divine pardon. Although He was wrongly accused and crucified, Jesus prayed to the Father to “forgive them for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:34a). Similarly, in the parable of the unforgiving servant, Jesus reveals that God frowns at people who would not forgive others. A cardinal part of the model prayer He gave His disciples when they asked Him to teach them how to pray was: “And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive everyone that is indebted to us…” (Luke 11:4a).

Matthew 18:21-22 is an account of the question Peter asked Jesus on the subject of forgiving others. He asked, “Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times?” Jesus’ reply was: “I say not unto thee seven times: but, seventy times seven.” To further reinforce the importance of forgiving others, Jesus then went on to give the parable of the unforgiving servant. He insisted that the forgiveness should come from your heart; it should be forgive and forget, not the “I will forgive but can’t forget” type of forgiving some people practice. The Lord demands that we obey and imitate Him in all things, and that includes forgiving others. If you have a problem in this area, go to Him and ask for His grace. Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15). Complete obedience is the hallmark of a true Christian. Is your obedience on the subject of forgiving others prompt, complete, and unquestioning?

Stephen’s life was exemplary. The scripture describes him in glowing terms. He was full of the Spirit and wisdom (Acts 6:3); a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit (Acts 6:5); a man full of grace and power, and he did great wonders and miracles among the people (Acts 6:8). The most impressive of his credentials was that his life reflected Jesus, especially in forgiving others. When the Libertines and Cyrenians and Alexandrians, and them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputed with Stephen, they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. He was eventually stoned to death (Acts 7). Yet he prayed for their sins to be forgiven them just as Jesus did. We should emulate such devoted Christians.

MFM Daily Prayer Points 28th June 2025

MORNING

1. Father, give me the grace to love and forgive others as You do and command me to, in the name of Jesus.

2. I receive the grace to be Christlike, in the name of Jesus.

3. Father, as I sow mercy and forgiveness, let me reap them also, in the name of Jesus.

EVENING

4. By the blood of Jesus, I overcome unforgiving attitude and spirit in my life, in the name of Jesus.

5. Today, I set free anyone I have kept in the prison of unforgiveness, in the name of Jesus.

6. Blood of Jesus, speak pardon and forgiveness into my life, in the name of Jesus.

7 . Blood of Jesus, avail and prevail for me, in the name of Jesus.

FRIDAY 27TH JUNE 2025 - SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY

MFM MOUNTAIN TOP LIFE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

FRIDAY 27TH JUNE 2025

TOPIC

SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR

2 Kings 10:32-12:21; Acts 18:1-22; Psalm 145:1-21; Proverbs 18:1

FIRE SCRIPTURE:

Genesis 18:1-10

And the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day;

And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,

And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetched a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door, which was behind him.

MEMORY VERSE:

Exodus 3:4

“And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.”

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:

“Life does not get better by chance; it gets better by change. The right attitude adjustment will only make you; it will not mar you.”

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:

“I receive the anointing of Apostle Paul who did not disobey the heavenly vision, in the name of Jesus.”

MESSAGE:

A true Christian depends on the Holy Spirit for guidance and help in all areas of life. He is required to be sensitive to the prompting and leading of the Holy Spirit, who always loves to communicate with His children. Spiritual sensitivity is an asset to every believer. It demands that both verbal and non-verbal messages of the Holy Spirit should trigger the right responses from a Christian. Another quality that will add immense benefits to your life as a Christian is spiritual alertness. It is being aware of what is taking place around you so you can have the right response to it. Are you spiritually sensitive and alert?

Genesis 18 relates the account of Abraham’s life-changing encounter with divinity. Heaven presented him with a rare opportunity. He needed spiritual sensitivity and alertness to recognize the opportunity and avail himself of it. Abraham did not miss the opportunity! The three visitors were Jehovah and two angels. In verses 2 and 3, the Bible says that when Abraham saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground, and said, “My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant.”

Note that Genesis 18:1 identifies one of the three visitors as Jehovah. It says that “the Lord appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day.” The question is, how did Abraham know it was the LORD? He was spiritually sensitive and alert. This virtue earned Abraham the gift or blessing he had been waiting for all his life – Isaac. His spiritual sensitivity, coupled with his hospitality, made the LORD declare, “I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and Sarah thy wife shall have a son” (Genesis 18:10 & 14).

Spiritual sensitivity and alertness are products of our genuine, daily walk with the Holy Spirit. To be spiritually sensitive and alert, you need to grow your relationship with the Spirit of God and value His abiding, indwelling, and empowering presence. You need to be sensitive to His prompting, learn to hear His voice, interpret His verbal and non-verbal messages, and obey them. It pays to be spiritually sensitive and alert. Spiritual sensitivity and alertness made Elisha receive the double portion of Elijah’s spirit, which he asked for.
