MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday, 26th June, 2026.

A believer in Christ should not be afraid of death, neither should they believe it is the end of life. I advise anyone who is afraid to go back to the scriptures and learn what God says about believers' final destiny. It is for us to rejoice with fellow saints in the presence of the Most High.

Death is not the end of a man's life. Rather, it is the beginning of the journey into his final abode, after judgement. This final destination can either be heaven or hell. This is the serious matter that we need to ponder on, so as to do everything possible to make sure we get to heaven. It is a matter of concern to everyone, young or old, rich or poor, believers or unbelievers. God is not a respecter of man, neither does His word bow to status, position or achievements. It is how you live here and now that determines the next destination.

Preachers often talk about this at the cemetery or any time a body is being laid to rest. Christians, let us be reminded that as long as we are here and breathing, we should always do the will of God, so that we can rest in His bosom after the departure from earth, called death. The scariest thing is the second death. A true child of God who is doing the will of God, obeying His commandments and conforming to His instructions would not be found there. This righteousness is not ours, but Christ's.

Therefore, if you are not yet born again, please, take a decision today and do so. That is the starting point of departure from the camp of those who will be part of the second death, the place of eternal damnation. For those who are Christ's, their final destination is heaven, where they will enjoy eternal bliss in God's presence (Revelation 21:6-8).

Beloved, the choice is yours. To live and perish with the world or to die and be with Christ.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday, 25th June, 2026.

Many people, Christians and non-Christians, do not often want to discuss about death. They get so scared when you mention the word. This is simply because nobody desires to die especially because of the pain of leaving their loved ones. Interestingly, whether we like it or not, we are going to die at a time. However, for God's own children, His promise for us is long life. This means that a Christian should live a fulfilled life and return to his Maker at a ripe old age.

Many complain about the world and its woes: economic distress, political woes, natural disasters and much more. Yet, they prefer to remain here, possibly because they assume that there are pleasures. Unfortunately, these pleasures are nothing but vanities. The Preacher, in the first chapter of the book of Ecclesiastes, saw nothing good about life. In spite of his riches, fame, even wisdom and knowledge, he declared that, "all is vanity." It is only at God's right hand that a Christian gets "pleasures for evermore" (Psalm 16:11).

The apostle Paul declared in the scriptures that, to live is Christ but to die is gain (Philippians 1:21). However, the gain he was talking about is only for believers in Christ who will gain heaven at last. Some others ignorantly desire the pleasures of this world more than eternal life. 1 John 2:15-17 summarises the truth neatly, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever." The "ever" here refers to those that will reign eternally with Christ.

As a Christian employer, you have the responsibility to lead with integrity, fairness and compassion, reflecting Christ's love in the workplace. Your actions and decisions should be guided by biblical principles, ensuring that your employees feel valued and respected.

I recall the story of Mr. Okoye, a Christian businessman in Abuja who owned a thriving construction company. Mr. Okoye was known for his fair treatment of employees, providing them with fair wages. safe working conditions, and opportunities for professional growth. He implemented regular training programmes, ensured timely payment of salaries, and maintained open communication with his staff. Mr. Okoye's compassionate leadership created a positive work environment, leading to high employee satisfaction and loyalty. His company's reputation for ethical practices attracted more clients, and his business flourished. Mr. Okoye's story is a testament to the blessings that come from leading with integrity and compassion.

Similarly, there is the story of Mrs. Adjei, a Christian woman from Ghana who owned a small tailoring shop. Despite facing financial challenges, Mrs. Adjei made it a priority to treat her workers with kindness and respect. She provided flexible working hours for mothers, offered interest-free loans during emergencies, and organized regular team-building activities. Her actions fostered a sense of community and support within her business. As a result, her employees were motivated and committed to their work, contributing to the success and growth of the tailoring shop.

God's word provides clear guidance on how Christian employers should treat their employees. Colossians 4:1 says, "Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven." This verse emphasizes the importance of fairness and justice in leadership. Ephesians 6:9 instructs, "And masters, treat your slaves in the same way. Do not threaten them, since you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with him." Christian employers are called to lead without favoritism and to create a safe and respectful work environment. Matthew 7:12, known as the Golden Rule, reminds us, "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." By treating employees with respect and kindness, Christian employers reflect Christ's love and create a positive impact in the workplace.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday, 23rd June, 2026.
Business partnership can be a powerful tool for growth and impact, especially when both parties are Christians. However, even among believers, partnerships must be entered into prayerfully and wisely. The Bible offers principles to help us avoid the common pitfalls that can cause problems in our business partnership. 2 Corinthians 6:14 says, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” So one major pitfall is an unequally yoked partnership.

When you go into a business partnership with someone you do not share the same spiritual values with, it can lead to a compromise of your faith and integrity. You may end up doing things which are against your Christian beliefs. Also, ignoring prayer and discernment is dangerous. You do not rush into partnerships without seeking God’s guidance (Proverbs 3:5-6). Just because a partnership looks good on paper does not mean it is God’s best for you.

Take time to pray, fast, and seek wise counsel before making any commitments. Another pitfall is a lack of clear agreement and boundaries. When you fail to define roles, responsibilities, expectations, and financial arrangements clearly, there will be disagreement and confusion. This is important because ambiguity can lead to misunderstanding, resentment, or legal issues. Clear written agreements honour both parties and protect the business relationship.

Making financial gain the central focus rather than honouring God is another pitfall to avoid in partnering in business. It means you are placing making profit above honouring God, forgetting that Matthew 6:33 says we should seek first the Kingdom of God, and every other thing shall be added unto us. Do not misplace your priority because you want to maximise profit.

When believers come together in business, they can combine their God-given talents to create something far greater than themselves. Partnerships founded on spiritual unity have the potential to bless others, create jobs, support ministry, and model Christ-like leadership. The Bible gives us deeper spiritual insights into why partnerships, when built on Godly principles, can be powerful and effective.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 says, "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work." The Bible supports partnership even in business. What makes a partnership powerful according to Scriptures?

1. It enhances productivity. We know that the labour of two or more will yield more profit.

2. It provides support during challenging times. It is often said that two heads are better than one. Knowledge and ideas from two or more people will go farther than one person who could get stranded.

3. It offers warmth and comfort; these are needed not only in marriage but also in business. It helps partners go through the ups and downs together, and the weight of the burden is reduced.

4. It strengthens one's defence. Partners can garner support from many other external forces to help build the business. There is shared strength and increased productivity according to our Fire Scripture.

Partnership allows for the sharing of skills, knowledge, and responsibilities. Together, business partners can achieve more than they could individually. A godly partnership will encourage transparency, accountability, and wise financial planning, which will lead to greater multiplication of what God has given. The mutual support that comes from a godly partnership can be quite helpful during times of hardship or decision-making. A Christian partner can be a spiritual ally, encouraging prayer, integrity, and helping ensure that decisions are made in line with biblical values, even when it is not easy.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday, 21st June, 2026.
The parable of talents contains important lessons for all believers today in the and eternity. In this parable, our Lord, Jesus speaks about the rewards of being a faithful servant in His kingdom. Those who invest their time and talents wisely are praised and rewarded. He is not asking for big, grand actions. He is only seeking faithfulness even in small things.

He is pleased when we are faithful in the small, everyday tasks. Whether it is in our place of work, in the church, community, or wherever. Faithfulness is what matters most to Him. The big question here is, what differentiated the faithful servants from the unfaithful ones? I know your answer will be faithfulness, and you are right. So perhaps we may ask what made the faithful ones remain faithful.

Faithfulness is a thing of the heart. It is loyalty which stems from the fact that you are happy to be where you are and doing what you are doing. The conditions of service were practically the same, but the unfaithful servant was not happy with his master. The lack of joy conditioned him for laziness and wickedness. Lack of joy can make us judge others, albeit unjustly. He judged his master when he did not have the right to do so. He was completely blinded and consumed by his frustrations, and he ended up a bitter man.

Beloved, you need to watch it; if you no longer find contentment in your job, career, ministry or relationship, you need to go to God in prayer and sort out whatever is the issue so you don’t end up in condemnation like the lazy, wicked servant in the parable of the talents. Frustration has led many to unreasonable actions, which have resulted in more trouble for them physically and spiritually.

[1] Now all the people gathered together as one man in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate; and they told Ezra the scribe to bring the Book of the Law of Moses, which the Lord had commanded Israel.
[2] So Ezra the priest brought the Law before the assembly of men and women and all who could hear with understanding on the first day of the seventh month.
[3] Then he read from it in the open square that was in front of the Water Gate from morning until midday, before the men and women and those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law.
[4] So Ezra the scribe stood on a platform of wood which they had made for the purpose; and beside him, at his right hand, stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Urijah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah; and at his left hand Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
[5] And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was standing above all the people; and when he opened it, all the people stood up.
[6] And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. Then all the people answered, “Amen, Amen!” while lifting up their hands. And they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.
[7] Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, helped the people to understand the Law; and the people stood in their place.
[8] So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.
[9] And Nehemiah, who was the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, “This day is holy to the Lord your God; do not mourn nor weep.” For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Law.
[10] Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

Joy is not just a feeling; it is the spiritual strength that empowers us to endure life’s challenges. Even when circumstances are hard, God’s joy is a source of inner strength. The people of Israel heard the reading of the law and were convicted of their sin. But Nehemiah encouraged them to celebrate, saying that their joy in the Lord would give them the strength they needed. It is often said that happiness is a choice. Sometimes, we have to actively choose joy.

The Bible emphatically says we should rejoice in the Lord always in Philippians 4: 4. This means remembering the faithfulness of God all the time, focusing on His goodness, and choosing to praise Him even in tough moments. If there is anything in our lives that is sapping our strength or draining our energy, we need to go to God for the strength to face that challenge with perseverance.

The joy of the Lord is the staying power that keeps us afloat until we are fully established. For example, hard times are not palatable, but we must pass through them. To overcome, we need to persevere, and one way we can remain strong and not give up is by ensuring that we are joyful always. Hopelessness and despair, if not quickly addressed, can lead to unholy alternatives, which can lead to death and destruction.

Lack of joy has dire consequences both spiritually and physically. When there is no joy in a person’s life due to unmet expectations or desires, lack of positive results in his or her endeavours, there will be frustrations on which the devil can stand to unleash his terror on such a person but with the joy of the Lord, which does not depend solely on positive outcomes, the devil understands that you don’t have his time, and he is beneath your feet.

[16] He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
[17] And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
[18] they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Speaking in tongues is one of the signs bestowed by Jesus Christ on His followers, which became manifest on the day of Pentecost. As it is recorded in Acts chapter two, after the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles, they began to speak in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance (Acts 2:4).

Here is the glorious account of Acts 2:4-6, “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven … and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.” The disciples began to speak in new tongues, and people from different nations began to understand what they were saying in their various local languages.

Speaking in tongues has two aspects, which are: speaking any natural human language inspired by the Holy Spirit, which was previously unknown to the believer. There was this missionary who went on evangelism in a totally strange land which language he did not understand, neither could he speak it. He was, however, stirred by the Holy Spirit, who opened his mouth, and for over thirty minutes, he preached the gospel to the locals in their own language.

The second aspect of speaking in tongues is what we call the “Heavenly Language” or “Prayer Language.” It is also described as Pentecostal Gift. This is an instrument you can use on a daily basis to confuse, paralyse, and defeat the devil and his hosts. As you pray in tongues, you are not only speaking mysteries which only God understands, but you are also edifying or charging up yourself spiritually. It breaks the yoke of spiritual weakness upon your life. Speaking in tongues as you pray will also strengthen and enrich both your prayer life and your prayer time. If you have been coveting long hours in prayer, start praying in tongues. Speaking in tongues also sharpens your spiritual sensitivity, your revelational gifts, and your discerning of spirits.

You must, however, know that relationship with the Holy Spirit supercedes any gifts. Some have pursued spiritual gifts to the detriment of their walk with God.

[17] Is today not the wheat harvest? I will call to the Lord, and He will send thunder and rain, that you may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which you have done in the sight of the Lord, in asking a king for yourselves.”
[18] So Samuel called to the Lord, and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day; and all the people greatly feared the Lord and Samuel.
[19] And all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the Lord your God, that we may not die; for we have added to all our sins the evil of asking a king for ourselves.”
[20] Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart.
[21] And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing.
[22] For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.
[23] Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way.
[24] Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you.
[25] But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king.”

MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday, 18th June, 2026.
Revival is a spiritual experience that is firmly rooted in the two testaments of the Scripture. Another established fact is that every true revival is connected to fervent prayer. Moses, the man of God, prayed for the Israelites after they made and worshipped the golden calf. God forgave them after they repented, and there was restoration of relationship with the Lord God. King Josiah also carried out a comprehensive spiritual reformation that sparked revival among his people through prayer and the instrumentality of the word of God.

Revival means re-awakening of a dead spiritual life. It can also mean the quickening of the believer’s dead spiritual battery. It means restoration of lost relationship with God. Revival is the rebirth of the life of Jesus in the heart of a Christian who has gone astray. Revival can be personal. It can be communal, as it was among the Moravians in the year 1727, or national, as it happened among the people of Nineveh after God sent Prophet Jonah to them.

Revival becomes a necessity when you have gone back to sinful living, when you have lost your relationship with God, when the fullness and freshness of the Holy Spirit has dwindled in your life. Revival becomes desirable when your prayer altar has lost its fire, and the hunger and thirst you used to have for God has died. You need revival when you now enjoy men’s presence than God’s. You need to cry for revival when you have lost your first love for the Lord Jesus.

Apparently, from Bible days through all the eras of the church to our contemporary time, revival has always been birthed through the womb of prayer. The Moravian revival was birthed through prayer and was sustained more than two hundred years through the altar of prayer. The Azuza street revival was also linked to the fervent prayer of God’s people. Every Christian who has ever enjoyed the blessing of revival tapped into it through prayer. Are you tired of your powerless Christianity and lack of impact for God? Then you need to enter your closet, lock up yourself, and continue to cry for revival until God answers you in His mercy.
