Acts 8:1-3

[1] And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judæa and Samaria, except the apostles.

[2] And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him.

[3] As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Be faithful to God even inside fire, in the lion's den or in the pit. He will fight for you and you will hold your peace.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday, 11th October, 2025.

In our Fire Scripture for today, the church was persecuted and scattered. Stephen was killed after delivering a wonderful message. Before he died, he saw the glory of heaven and our Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, gave him a standing ovation.

Jesus already told us that persecution and attacks from the enemy would continue because of our belief in Him. The devil will never be happy that we are serving God. So, persecution is obvious. But I want to assure you that in the midst of persecution and attack, the Lord is there with you. In the fire and in the storm, the Lord Jesus is giving you a standing ovation. When you are being attacked, He is there with you and He knows what you are passing through.

The gains of serving God without looking back are very enormous. He is not like man that uses fellow men and women and dump them. Have you forgotten His promise that if you serve Him He will bless your water and your bread and remove sickness from among you? Have you also forgotten that He has gone to prepare a place for us to later be with Him and the Father? What about the crowns awaiting us in heaven, apart from all the blessings here on earth

Beloved, we are in a crazy world. The world is crazy as a result of the activities and Mr. Devil who is out to scare us from carrying out the Godly agenda of depopulating hell for God's kingdom. So, do not be afraid; do not be moved; do not intimidated. Be strong like Bro. Stephen and Paul the Apostle. For God is there for you and He knows what you are going through for His sake. Jesus' charge to those who are being persecuted for righteousness' sake will give you comfort. He said that they are blessed, theirs is the kingdom of heaven, great is their reward in heaven and they should rejoice Beloved, persecution for righteousness' sake comes with reward!

𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆

1. Power to be bold to serve God effectively, come upon my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. Grace to serve God wholeheartedly, come upon my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. I refuse to deny God in the face of attacks, in the name of Jesus.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆

4. I receive power, to overcome all the enemies of God in my life, in the name of Jesus.

5. Powers from my father's house, assigned to frustrate God's works in my hand, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

6. Men and women mocking me because I am serving the Lord, be disgraced by my testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

7. I shall not serve God on satan's conditions, in the name of Jesus.
