Acts 3:1-10
[1] Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
[2] And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;
[3] who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.
[4] And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”
[5] So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
[6] Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
[7] And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
[8] So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them, walking, leaping, and praising God.
[9] And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
[10] Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday, 12th July, 2026.
We continue our discourse on the channels of healing. The word of God is another channel of healing. The Bible says in Psalm 138:2 that the Lord has magnified His word above His name. The word of God will not return to Him void; it must perform His desire (Isaiah 55:11). This same word of God is a channel of healing.
Yesterday, we read about the centurion who demonstrated faith in the word of Jesus. He asked Him to only speak the word because he knew how powerful the word of God is. Today, we read about Peter healing the lame man at the Beautiful gate of the temple with the word of God in his mouth. This goes to show the power in the word of God.
The primary source of the word of God is the Bible. What does the Bible say about your healing? What are the promises of God concerning your health? There are loads of them. All you have to do is open your Bible and open your heart so that you can hear God speak to you.
The word of God can also come through His representative. Your pastor can speak the word of God over you; you may receive a word of knowledge in a meeting; you yourself can actually hear God speak to you concerning your situation. When you have received the word of God, you have to keep confessing that word. Make sure you don't stop believing and confessing. Also, meditate on the word rather than on your situation. The word of God works wonders.
Beloved, lay hold on the word of God today. Remind God of His promises through the word, not because God has forgotten but because you are showing Him that you align with His word. May the power in the word of God work healing in every area of your life, in Jesus' name.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆1. O Lord, fill my heart with Your words, in the name of Jesus.
2. Every enemy of the word of God in my life, be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.
3. Let the power in the word of God be made manifest in every area of my life, in the name of Jesus.
4. I receive my all round healing through the word of God, in the name of Jesus.
5. I speak the word of God over my situation; it is well with me, in the name of Jesus.
6. I declare, according to the word of God, that by the stripes of Jesus, I am healed, in the name of Jesus.
7. I walk in the fulfilment of divine promises, in the name of Jesus.
