[31] Behold, the days are coming that I will cut off your arm and the arm of your father’s house, so that there will not be an old man in your house. 

[32] And you will see an enemy in My dwelling place, despite all the good which God does for Israel. And there shall not be an old man in your house forever. 

[33] But any of your men whom I do not cut off from My altar shall consume your eyes and grieve your heart. And all the descendants of your house shall die in the flower of their age. 

[34] Now this shall be a sign to you that will come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they shall die, both of them. 

[35] Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever. 

[36] And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and say, “Please, put me in one of the priestly positions, that I may eat a piece of bread.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday, 9th March, 2026.

Yesterday, I highlighted some of the features and operations of generational curses. I mentioned that they run deeper than can be imagined. They are the reason many people miss out on their divine placement, some are always in the wrong place at the right time and some arrows of error and mistake locate them at the most crucial moment of their lives, putting an end to their glorious career or life. The Fire Scripture for today points to this fact about the house of Eli and they suffered for many years.

The manifestation of generational curses in the house of Eli came to a peak when Abiathar was to be consolidated and established as the chief high priest to serve in Solomon's government. He made an unpardonable mistake. He did not find out from David who he will prefer to reign in his stead between Adonijah ans Solomon (1 Kings 1:7).

He went on to support Adonijah, and when Bathsheba was prompted by Nathan the Prophet to go in unto David regarding the matter of a successor, she harken and David called unto Bath-sheba- 1 King 1:28-33- There and then the King gave instructions that Solomon was to be his successor, and he was enthroned vs 38 "So Zadok the Priest, and Nathan the Prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jeoiada, and the Cheretithes, and the Peletithes, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David's mule and brought him to Gihon."

In 1 Kings 2: 26-27, the Bible tells us that Abiathar was thrust out from being priest unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh. Generational curses of the father's house of Abiathar caught up with him at the age of over eighty. Solomon thrust him out from being Priest and directed that he goes back to Anathoth his father's house and village, to till the ground before he can feed. This was a man that had rubbed shoulders with the high and the mighty before his sudden fall from grace to grass. That was the evil power of generational curses. You need the mercy of God to be free.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday, 8th March, 2026.

Generational curses are real, and they can have a profound impact on our lives, our families, our communities and the nation at large. Right from the beginning some people have incurred curse upon themselves which have affected even generation yet unborn. For us to successfully break generational curses, we must understand what they are.

Generational curses can be said to be patterns of sin, patterns of wickedness, dysfunctional or negative behaviours that are passed down from one generation to another. There are many factors that can be responsible for generational curses: idolatry, false worship, disobedience to God, entering into covenants with ungodly entities, maltreating helps, servants, slaves or even family members, bitterness, vengeance or taking revenge of a wrong done. It can also be caused by unforgiveness or not repenting from a particular known sin, etc.

Dearly beloved, in the Fire Scripture of today, God sent a man of God to go and warn Eli of what will befall him and his father's house because of the misbehaviour of his children of which he refused to chastise them. They treated the sacrifice of the Lord with disdain; they sleep with women in the sanctuary, and many other evil deeds. Their father did not do anything tangible to curtail their excesses; therefore the judgement of God came upon the family.

Dear reader of this devotional, a generational curse can travel for many years and generation, and it will continue to wreak havoc except broken. Generational curse can bring about untimely death, failure at the edge of breakthroughs, wrong positioning and many other problems. A lot of families are suffering today because of the punishment handed down by their ancestors. So many people have missed their divine placement; so many others are struggling today because of generational curses. Some can go as far as fifteen generations. The problem of generational curses is that it turns a glorious destiny to a glorified slave. To break generational curses, there must be genuine repentance and forgiveness.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday, 7th March, 2026.

It is disheartening to know that many people settle for less than what God has intended for them. Whether out of fear, impatience, low self-worth, or past disappointments, many accept mediocrity in relationships, careers, spiritual growth, or purpose. But God's word reminds us that we are called to much more. Beloved, you were created for greater things. You are not an accident or a product of chance. You were created by God, on purpose, for a purpose. That is the divine design; settling for less dishonours this grand divine design. How do I know? God told me in Jeremiah 29:11, which says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." God's plans for your life are good, intentional, and filled with purpose. Settling for less than His best is disobedience and failure in disguise.

God gives abundance, not scarcity. Jesus did not come so we could just be managing life, just to get by. He came to give us abundant life spiritually, emotionally, and even materially when we follow His will. John 10:10 says, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." It is not the will of God that His children should live in lack but in abundance. Many people settle for less because they cannot see their true value. They forget that they are worth the blood of Jesus. Beloved, never forget your worth in Christ. Anyone or anything that causes you to compromise your identity must be ignored. What God has in store often exceeds what you have seen, experienced or even imagined. Don't settle for less than God's best.

What is a comfort zone? It is a place or situation in which you feel safe or comfortable. Choosing to stay in this situation instead of trying to work harder or achieve more is the crux of the matter in our devotional today. Stepping outside your comfort zone and trying new things can be a great experience if you develop the staying power through God's grace.

From a biblical standpoint, the comfort zone can be one of the greatest hindrances to spiritual growth, maximising your potential and achieving more. The Bible repeatedly challenges believers to step out in faith into uncomfortable, uncertain, and even risky situations because that is where God works most powerfully. When we prioritise comfort, we risk becoming spiritually stagnant. Jesus warned the church in Laodicea about their lukewarm faith as we can see in Revelation 3:15-16. Remaining lukewarm means choosing comfort over commitment, and safety over sacrifice. God often calls His people into the unknown to grow their faith. For example, Abraham left everything familiar, trusting God's promise. Faith that never gets tested never steps out and does not grow (Genesis 12, Hebrews 11:8). He opted for discomfort, and God honoured His word concerning him.

Fear can convince us that staying put is being wise. But when fear overrides obedience, we miss divine opportunities. Only Peter had the faith to leave the boat, and only he experienced walking on water. You may say he sank, but Jesus caught him. Staying in the boat might feel safe, but it is not where miracles happen. Miracles don't happen in your comfort zone. The dangers of staying in your comfort zone include: spiritual complacency, missed opportunities, shallow faith, and a life of unfulfilled dreams and vision. God is calling you to trust Him beyond your limits because His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Time is one of the most valuable resources God has given us. Time cannot be earned, stored or retrieved once it is spent, unlike money and other possessions. Children of God are stewards of God's blessings. We are called to manage our time wisely and purposefully, according to the will of God. However, it is easy to waste time through procrastination, distractions, or misplaced priorities. But God did not give us time to waste it, but to use it to fulfil His will, which is ultimately for the advancement of humanity and His Kingdom. Therefore, to ensure that time is well spent, we need to plan its use very well. Time management is actually the planning and controlling of the time spent on specific tasks to increase efficiency.

A lot of times, lack of productivity and performance is not the lack of enough time but a failure to plan and use it well. In Psalm 90:12, Moses prayed, "Teach us to number our days that we apply our heart unto wisdom." It is a prayer that reminds us that time is finite; that is limited. It is only God that knows tomorrow; so today, we must live with purpose, determination and discipline to do what ought to be done.

Wise planning of time shows that we are purposeful. Whether it is managing our family, career, business or ministry. The way we handle our time reflects how seriously we take our destiny fulfilment. Beloved, the pertinent questions to ask are: Am I using my time in a way that honours God? What activities or habits are stealing my time without adding value? How can I better align my schedule with God's purposes? Careful answers to the above questions portray that you prioritise God, spend your time judiciously, and your activities align with divine purposes.

There are lots of heart-stirring, faith-boosting and life-changing lessons to be learnt from the works of God among the Israelites. God proved that no power, might or authority can truncate His decisions, plans and promises. At the appropriate time, God delivered the people of Israel from the house of bondage in Egypt through the display of His mighty, unchallengable power. As He was leading them to the land flowing with milk and honey according to His predetermined counsel, seemingly insurmountable obstacles sprang up. The first of such terrifying obstacles was the Red Sea, which was without any stress subdued by the Mighty Hand of God. Do you have any Red-Sea-like opposition to your progress, breakthrough, or God's promises to you? Engage the Mighty Hand of God.

Another obstacle that reared its ugly head was the Jordan River, which was standing between the Israelites and the Promised Land just on the other side. The Mighty Hand of God also settled the problem for the Israelites. In Joshua 4:23-24, a glowing testimony about the Mighty Hand of God is recorded, "For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over: That all the people of the earth might know the hand of the LORD, that it is mighty: that ye might fear the LORD your God for ever".

The Mighty Hand of God represents the wonderful works of God, the great acts, and the moves of God either visible or invisible. The Mighty Hand of God is so powerful that when He stretches it out, nobody can turn it (Isaiah 14:27b). The Hand of God destroys every agenda of the enemy. It performs various kinds of wonders. It heals. It establishes God's purposes and brings to pass divine promises. The Mighty Hand of God makes impossible possible. What is the challenge that has been confronting you? Engage the Mighty Hand of God and let laughter fill your mouth.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday, 3rd March, 2026.

As we begin to look at the topic before us today, let us first look at the personality of the Holy Spirit. Who exactly is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is the third person in the God-head. The Holy Spirit is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Son. He is the Executive Director of God's operations here on earth. We are first introduced to Him in Genesis 1:1-2. The Holy Spirit is not a force, or an influence, or a thing. Therefore, the pronoun "it" must never be used for Him.

Part of the glorious works of the Holy Spirit is in the supreme task of soul winning. Every true church must be committed to soul winning. Every wise disciple must also be involved in soul winning. However, no church or any Christian can effectively handle the task of soul winning without a strong input by the Holy Spirit. It is Him who empowers believers to proclaim the gospel. At the same time, it is the Holy Spirit that convicts sinners of their sins. He produces conversion and regeneration by making one to be born again.

The Holy Spirit also liberates from the power of sin and death so that the converts will be holy and empowered to live a holy life. The Holy Spirit gives inward assurance of salvation. The Holy Spirit also gives divine boldness and power to continue preaching the word of God (Acts 2:14; 4:8, 5:29).

This was highly demonstrated in the lives of the Apostles. Acts 4:8 says: "Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders of Israel...". This was the same Peter: whom we saw not too long ago in the Gospels, cowering before this same set of people, denying his Lord and Master for fear of whatever he thought they might do to him. Now, standing to address them boldly in the power of the Holy Spirit, thousands were converted to the way of truth (Acts 2:40-41; 4:4).

Do you also desire to be an effective soul winner? Thank God for the Holy Spirit!.

Our Fire Scripture for today provides a classical example of divine acceleration. In 1 Kings 18:46, the Bible says, "And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel." In the same vein, beloved, God can fulfil His plans and purposes for your life at a faster rate than is naturally possible. There are decelerating powers, evil spirits that slow people's lives and destinies down, delay, stagnate or retard them. Some even make their victims experience retrogression. Such powers are enemies of your destiny fulfilment and must be ruthlessly dealt with in the place of prayer and spiritual warfare.

Beloved, there is a season and time to everything and every purpose under the heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1). The anointing of divine acceleration is the antidote to all forms of delay or slow progress. When a student spends ten years to study a four year course, decelerating powers are at work; he needs divine acceleration. When a person gets promotion only once in fifteen years while others get promoted five to seven times in the same period, he or she needs the oil of divine acceleration. Whenever you observe that progress and achievements are very slow in any area of your life (business, ministry, etc.), you should cry to heaven to intervene and give you supernatural acceleration. Without divine speed being injected into some people's lives, they will not fulfil their divine purposes and will end up as failures in life. That will not be your portion, in Jesus' name.

When you experience divine acceleration, there will be remarkable progress in all areas of your life. The tree of your life will flourish and bring forth fruits in the right season. The journey of eleven days will not take your forty years. The eagle of your destiny will fly, and the vehicle of your destiny will move at a great speed, instead of being slowed down. The power of the spirit of inertia, delay and decay will be broken over your life. You will experience all-round fulfilment.

Beloved, if you are not born again, do so right now. Then cry to God to give you divine acceleration today.

Divine acceleration refers to God's supernatural intervention, speeding up progress, breakthroughs, or solutions in various areas of life. Beloved, it takes God's power to propel you towards your destiny and goal.

Who needs divine acceleration? The following list provides answers to this all-important question: 

(1) People who are under the fierce attacks of the spirit of stagnation. They just observed that important areas of their lives are at a standstill, and no progress or achievement is being recorded. 

(2) Those who are being harassed by the spirit of slow progress. The progress they record is very slow and insignificant, making their lives stale, dry and without testimonies. 

(3) Those who are experiencing stunted growth and retardation in some or all areas of their lives (ministry, finances, marriage, career, business, academics, spiritual life, etc.) 

(4) Those whose miracles and testimonies are old and are finding it very difficult to get new ones 

(5) Victims of the spirit of inertia and satanic stand still order 

(6) Those who are finding it extremely difficult to move to their next level, higher grounds, obtain promotion and desired divine change due to the activities of dark powers, etc. 

(7) Those who know that they are not where God wants them to be. The enemy has slowed them down, and they need God's intervention 

(8) Victims of the spirit of satanic delay 

(9) Those who know that the eagles of their destinies are not flying but crawling 

(10) Those who need power to mount up with eagles and want God to restore their wasted years.

Beloved, if you have observed that one or more of the aforementioned symptoms are plaguing your life, you need to cry to God for intervention and the release of the anointing for divine acceleration. This spiritual phenomenon called divine acceleration has its distinguishing characteristics:

(1) It is God's initiative. This is because it originates from God's power 

(2) When it comes, it often surpasses human expectations 

(3) It produces empowerment and progress 

(4) It is the solution to satanic stagnation and cure to all forms of delay 

(5) It produces miracles and testimonies that bring glory to God. No one experiences divine acceleration and remains the same. You need to identify and pray out of your life anything stagnating, delaying or slowing you down.

This is the month that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it. I decree upon the womb of this month. You month of March, hear the word of the Lord: favour me by fire, in the name of Jesus. In this month, every element of the universe shall cooperate with me, by the power in the blood of Jesus. This month, I shall not experience poverty of the body, poverty of the soul nor poverty of the spirit, in the name of Jesus. No power shall pull me down.

Whether the enemy likes it or not, I shall excel this month, in the name of Jesus. This month, the Lord will make me an effortless winner and an unconquerable champion, by the power in the blood of Jesus. This month, my life shall advertise the glory of God, in the name of Jesus.

This month, eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood will flee at my presence, in the name of Jesus. This month, the Lord will arise for my sake. Everywhere I go, I shall receive favour. This month, the Lord will make me the head and not the tail. I shall be above only and not beneath, in the name of Jesus. Every pursuer of my destiny shall be pursued unto desolation. This month, I render every habitation of darkness around me desolate, in the name of Jesus.

This month, I will not be a candidate of sweating without results. Every obstacle on my way of progress shall be dismantled. Those who mocked me in the past shall celebrate with me, in the name of Jesus. No evil shall befall me and no plague shall come near my dwelling, in the name of Jesus.
