[3] knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,

[5] For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water,

[6] by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water.

[7] But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

[8] But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

[9] The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

[11] Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,

[12] looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

[13] Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday, 14th March, 2026.

When we talk about Jesus coming back again, some people are quick to reply - "Oh! That is what they have been saying from time immemorial." Oh yes, you are right! However, thank God for the Bible. Our passage for today speaks about such people and calls them scoffers. I sincerely hope you have not fallen into the category of the scoffers. Jesus said it Himself that He was going away to prepare a place and come back to take His people with Him (John 14:1-3).

The angels at Jesus' ascension on Mount Olives corroborated it - Acts 1:10-11. In addition, in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, the Bible states categorically that Jesus Christ will return. There will be resurrection of the dead in Christ first, and a rapture of the living believers. Then, there will be a happy reunion. With all these glorious promises and more, are you ready to start preparing for His coming, or would you still rather prefer to remain a skeptic? It is a personal matter and the choice is actually yours. But it is not the will of God for anyone to end up in hell fire.

Even if you do not witness the second coming of Jesus Christ physically, the day you breathe your last; that is it. People do not like to talk or hear about death, but no matter how long one lives; death is sure, certain, and inevitable for all. It is the last examination we all have to face on earth, and it has no time-table, it can come at any time, though we all pray to live long. Death is no respecter of persons and does not discriminate between ages, gender, race, beauty, affluence, qualification, etc. It is a journey of no return, and there is no repentance in the grave.

The only thing that guarantees your eternity with Jesus is your life of absolute holiness and total submission to Jesus, daily carrying your cross and following Him.

Beloved, Jesus is coming back again! Are you ready? Be prepared!

1. I reject every spirit of doubt and unbelief, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday, 13th March, 2026.

In the Parable of Ten Virgins, Jesus compares His coming to a wedding for which we all must be prepared. To be prepared is to make necessary arrangements and be ready for something that is going to happen.

Conversion is one thing, but safeguarding it, building upon it, and eventually making it to Heaven is another thing entirely. Remember, not all who came out of Egypt made it to the Promised Land!

The ten women were all virgins; the five foolish ones took their lamps but took no extra oil along while the five wise ones took their lamps as well as extra vessels of oil. Due to the delay in the Bridegroom's arrival, they all slumbered and slept off. However, when the Bridegroom came, the wise virgins had extra oil for their lamps while the foolish ones did not. The cares and worries, trials and tribulations, toils, pains and sufferings, adverse conditions, deprivations, sicknesses, human limitations and various negative experiences of life have wearied a lot of Christians in these last days, thereby; causing many to be spiritually careless and yielding to all sorts of compromise, and many becoming completely complacent.

Beloved, Jesus is coming back again, and you need to be prepared so that He does not catch you off-guard like the five foolish virgins. Your belief or unbelief does not stop His coming. The Scripture is very clear on this matter. Our Lord Jesus Himself, in view of His imminent departure from His disciples said in John 14:3; "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Are you striving with all your life not to be disqualified from reigning with Him in eternity? Are you truly expecting the second advent of Jesus Christ, which may happen at any time?

Let this continue to ring in your ears - Jesus is indeed coming back again! Therefore, be prepared!

1. Father Lord, wake me up from any form of spiritual sleep, in the name of Jesus.

In this world, people make elaborate plans for themselves. All the tall ambitions to become great. have good education, a good job, a successful marriage, children, acquire wealth, build houses, buy exotic cars, travel abroad, etc. are all good, but the question is: Is God in the picture? All the valuable time expended on preparing for mundane things, endless time spent on taking care of the body which will perish someday, at the expense of the spirit, which will live forever either in heaven or hell, as the case may be, is not outrightly bad. But are you equally preparing for the coming of Jesus? James 4:14 says: "Ye know not what shall be on the morrow, for what is your life? It is even a vapour that appeareth for a little time and vanisheth away."

Life is a journey that must end someday. Are you prepared? God alone regulates the duration of our stay here on earth and decides the time of our individual home call, which is a certainty. Preparedness is the key word. Romans 13:11-12 says: "...now is high time we awake out of sleep: the night is far spent, the day is at hand..." There is need for consistent, daily, Christ-like living in anticipation of the Lord's return.

It is strongly emphasized in the Scriptures that no sinner, hypocrite, backslider, liar, careless, and compromising believer would be able to go with the Lord when He comes. God forbids that a professing believer should be shut out of the heavenly city. Not after all the church services and programmes you have attended, the sermons and messages you have listened to, the evangelism you have done, your contributions in cash and kind to church growth, all the prayers of binding and loosing, etc. It simply would not just make any sense. Beloved, don't allow the cares of this world, deceitfulness of riches and worldly applause to rob you of your godly inheritance. Whether or not you believe it, Jesus is actually coming again for the faithful, steadfast, and watchful believers! Be prepared!

1. Lord, grant me victory over temptations and satanic devices of the enemy, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday, 11th March, 2026.

In the course of our reflection in the past four days, we learnt that the issue of generational curses is not something to trifle with. It is so serious that it has brought many glorious destinies into untimely grave. It has converted the head to tail. It has made princes and warriors to be grinding corn in the compound of their enemies. It has made those in the front to be behind. In everything, breaking generational curse is not a gentleman affair. It is to be taken seriously.

In the fire scriptures of today. The people of God lamented on what had become of them, they had been enslaved in their own land; the enemy is now ruling over their lives; they make their daily living at the peril of their lives; their women are being ravished in their presence.

Dearly beloved, the children that are suffering now are not responsible for the pain they are going through. Therefore, breaking the generational curse that is in operation will take a deep process of repentance for the past deeds of the ancestors. There must be renunciation. What brought them to this level of suffering was what their ancestors did. They disobeyed God at will and served the gods of the land God gave them. They followed the culture of the people, made their children to pass through fire, killing at will. The problem is very deep; therefore, deep repentance is equally needed. If this is not done, many coming generations will keep on suffering. Breaking generational curses will be effective if every member of the family comes to God for repentance, do restitution where necessary and then undergo family deliverance. If there are idols or shrines and altars, after deliverance they should be submitted for burning. Thereafter, everyone of them should make God their anchor. MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday, 10th March, 2026.

We have been treating this topic now for about three days. Today, we will look further at what made Abiathar to crash from grace to grass and how he found himself in that position. In our Fire Scriptures today, Saul came to Nob the city of priests and slew 85 members of Abiathar's family. He was the only one that escaped and went to meet David at Keila.

Dearly beloved, Abiathar had a good name. His name in Hebrew means "Father of abundance" or my My father excels." He was the son of Ahimelech the high priest and the forth in descent from Eli. When his father was slain with the priests of Nob, he escaped and bearing with him the Ephod, he joined David, who was then in the cave of Adullam. He rained with David and became the priest of the party (1 Samuel 30:7). When David ascended the throne of Judah, Abiathar was appointed high priest.

Beloved, Abiathar was deposed (the sole historical instance of the deposition of a high priest) and banished to his home at Anathoth by Solomon because he took part in the attempt to raise Adonijah to the throne. The priesthood thus passed from the house of Ithamar. (1 Samuel 2:30-36) Abiathar committed an unpardonable mistake, which removed all his privilege as a high priest and this happened to him suddenly. He suffered with David; all his family members were slain in one day by Saul who had Doeg to do his dirty work and yet, he was removed from being priest unto the Lord.

That sudden loss of job, the failure that comes when you are about to consolidate, that disappointment when you think you have scaled through and nothing could go wrong again, if you do a serious spiritual mapping,, you will discover that generational curses are responsible for what you are passing through. The way out is to repent. Ask for God's mercy. Go for serious deliverance and ask for the power of Jehovah God to restore all that you have lost and to forbid any rising of the affliction second time.

[32] And you will see an enemy in My dwelling place, despite all the good which God does for Israel. And there shall not be an old man in your house forever.

[33] But any of your men whom I do not cut off from My altar shall consume your eyes and grieve your heart. And all the descendants of your house shall die in the flower of their age.

[34] Now this shall be a sign to you that will come upon your two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas: in one day they shall die, both of them.

[35] Then I will raise up for Myself a faithful priest who shall do according to what is in My heart and in My mind. I will build him a sure house, and he shall walk before My anointed forever.

[36] And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left in your house will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and say, “Please, put me in one of the priestly positions, that I may eat a piece of bread.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday, 9th March, 2026.

Yesterday, I highlighted some of the features and operations of generational curses. I mentioned that they run deeper than can be imagined. They are the reason many people miss out on their divine placement, some are always in the wrong place at the right time and some arrows of error and mistake locate them at the most crucial moment of their lives, putting an end to their glorious career or life. The Fire Scripture for today points to this fact about the house of Eli and they suffered for many years.

The manifestation of generational curses in the house of Eli came to a peak when Abiathar was to be consolidated and established as the chief high priest to serve in Solomon's government. He made an unpardonable mistake. He did not find out from David who he will prefer to reign in his stead between Adonijah ans Solomon (1 Kings 1:7).

He went on to support Adonijah, and when Bathsheba was prompted by Nathan the Prophet to go in unto David regarding the matter of a successor, she harken and David called unto Bath-sheba- 1 King 1:28-33- There and then the King gave instructions that Solomon was to be his successor, and he was enthroned vs 38 "So Zadok the Priest, and Nathan the Prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jeoiada, and the Cheretithes, and the Peletithes, went down, and caused Solomon to ride upon king David's mule and brought him to Gihon."

In 1 Kings 2: 26-27, the Bible tells us that Abiathar was thrust out from being priest unto the LORD; that he might fulfil the word of the LORD which he spake concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh. Generational curses of the father's house of Abiathar caught up with him at the age of over eighty. Solomon thrust him out from being Priest and directed that he goes back to Anathoth his father's house and village, to till the ground before he can feed. This was a man that had rubbed shoulders with the high and the mighty before his sudden fall from grace to grass. That was the evil power of generational curses. You need the mercy of God to be free.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday, 8th March, 2026.

Generational curses are real, and they can have a profound impact on our lives, our families, our communities and the nation at large. Right from the beginning some people have incurred curse upon themselves which have affected even generation yet unborn. For us to successfully break generational curses, we must understand what they are.

Generational curses can be said to be patterns of sin, patterns of wickedness, dysfunctional or negative behaviours that are passed down from one generation to another. There are many factors that can be responsible for generational curses: idolatry, false worship, disobedience to God, entering into covenants with ungodly entities, maltreating helps, servants, slaves or even family members, bitterness, vengeance or taking revenge of a wrong done. It can also be caused by unforgiveness or not repenting from a particular known sin, etc.

Dearly beloved, in the Fire Scripture of today, God sent a man of God to go and warn Eli of what will befall him and his father's house because of the misbehaviour of his children of which he refused to chastise them. They treated the sacrifice of the Lord with disdain; they sleep with women in the sanctuary, and many other evil deeds. Their father did not do anything tangible to curtail their excesses; therefore the judgement of God came upon the family.

Dear reader of this devotional, a generational curse can travel for many years and generation, and it will continue to wreak havoc except broken. Generational curse can bring about untimely death, failure at the edge of breakthroughs, wrong positioning and many other problems. A lot of families are suffering today because of the punishment handed down by their ancestors. So many people have missed their divine placement; so many others are struggling today because of generational curses. Some can go as far as fifteen generations. The problem of generational curses is that it turns a glorious destiny to a glorified slave. To break generational curses, there must be genuine repentance and forgiveness.

It is disheartening to know that many people settle for less than what God has intended for them. Whether out of fear, impatience, low self-worth, or past disappointments, many accept mediocrity in relationships, careers, spiritual growth, or purpose. But God's word reminds us that we are called to much more. Beloved, you were created for greater things. You are not an accident or a product of chance. You were created by God, on purpose, for a purpose. That is the divine design; settling for less dishonours this grand divine design. How do I know? God told me in Jeremiah 29:11, which says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." God's plans for your life are good, intentional, and filled with purpose. Settling for less than His best is disobedience and failure in disguise.

God gives abundance, not scarcity. Jesus did not come so we could just be managing life, just to get by. He came to give us abundant life spiritually, emotionally, and even materially when we follow His will. John 10:10 says, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." It is not the will of God that His children should live in lack but in abundance. Many people settle for less because they cannot see their true value. They forget that they are worth the blood of Jesus. Beloved, never forget your worth in Christ. Anyone or anything that causes you to compromise your identity must be ignored. What God has in store often exceeds what you have seen, experienced or even imagined. Don't settle for less than God's best.

1. Father Lord, reveal my true self to me, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday, 6th March, 2026.

What is a comfort zone? It is a place or situation in which you feel safe or comfortable. Choosing to stay in this situation instead of trying to work harder or achieve more is the crux of the matter in our devotional today. Stepping outside your comfort zone and trying new things can be a great experience if you develop the staying power through God's grace.

From a biblical standpoint, the comfort zone can be one of the greatest hindrances to spiritual growth, maximising your potential and achieving more. The Bible repeatedly challenges believers to step out in faith into uncomfortable, uncertain, and even risky situations because that is where God works most powerfully. When we prioritise comfort, we risk becoming spiritually stagnant. Jesus warned the church in Laodicea about their lukewarm faith as we can see in Revelation 3:15-16. Remaining lukewarm means choosing comfort over commitment, and safety over sacrifice. God often calls His people into the unknown to grow their faith. For example, Abraham left everything familiar, trusting God's promise. Faith that never gets tested never steps out and does not grow (Genesis 12, Hebrews 11:8). He opted for discomfort, and God honoured His word concerning him.

Fear can convince us that staying put is being wise. But when fear overrides obedience, we miss divine opportunities. Only Peter had the faith to leave the boat, and only he experienced walking on water. You may say he sank, but Jesus caught him. Staying in the boat might feel safe, but it is not where miracles happen. Miracles don't happen in your comfort zone. The dangers of staying in your comfort zone include: spiritual complacency, missed opportunities, shallow faith, and a life of unfulfilled dreams and vision. God is calling you to trust Him beyond your limits because His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

1. O Lord, deliver me from the spirit of fear, in the name of Jesus.
