MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday 13th August 2025.

Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday. The fact that God sees our hearts explains the reason some worship are not acceptable to God and why they are mere noises that return to men's bosoms, unacceptable and unworthy. But when you are righteous in your heart and ways, you are able to lift up holy hands unto God in worship. In Psalm 24:3-6, our Fire Scripture today, the Psalmist asked some questions and immediately answered them by stating the conditions of those qualified to stand in worship before the Almighty God. "Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob."

A true worshipper must do everything possible to flee from sin and all unrighteousness. He must live and maintain a purged and sanctified life, manifesting a totally humble and contrite heart. He is someone who has a grateful heart, an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving; always ready to thank the Lord, bless and praise Him in all situations. The Psalmist is one man who did not only show us how to worship, but he was an incurable worshipper of Jehovah God himself. This can be confirmed through the Psalms. the Psalmist proclaimed in Psalm 103:1-5: "Bless the LORD, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's."

These and much more are the benefits of those who are ready to worship God in Spirit and in truth. Will you be one of them? God is willing! Why not take a pause and be in the attitude of worship right away.

1. Holy Ghost fire, purge me inside out, in the name of Jesus.

2. O Lord, create in me a new heart and renew a right spirit within me today, in the name of Jesus.

3. O Lord, take me to Your threshing floor and trash out the dross in my life, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday 12th August 2025.

Worship is solely an act that is reserved for God. He is the Sovereign God, the Creator of heaven and earth and our Maker. He alone is worthy to receive our praise not any man or any idol. We are created to praise and worship Him according to Revelation 4:11. True worship honours and exalts God! There are true and untrue worshippers according to the scriptures.

Isaiah 29:13, tells us that they worship God with their mouths but their hearts were not right with God. This is nothing but pretense and hypocrisy. Such a worship is unacceptable before God. Who are the true worshippers? What qualifies them as such? Are there parameters to be a true worshipper? Can you claim that you are one of them? These are some of the questions we would try and answer in the next few days.

Worshipping God comes in two folds: "in spirit and in truth", according to today's fire scripture. It therefore means that you must be in the spirit to worship God sincerely. That is, you must have an established intimate relationship with God. When you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, the Spirit of God now dwells in you and you are divinely connected to God. His Spirit represents His presence and power in you, and it is only through the Spirit that you can give a worthy and acceptable worship to God. Striving in the flesh amounts to nothing. The world may see you sing and shout, yet it is unacceptable before God. Your spirit, soul and body must be involved in worshipping Him. No wonder Romans 12:1 says our bodies are a "living sacrifice", a service that is holy and acceptable to God.

As a true worshipper, the first condition is that you must be holy and righteous in your ways, that is, you must be an obedient child of God. That is one way to be true before God in worship. You cannot worship God in deception or pretense. He sees beyond your outward appearance and display. He sees the heart of men, our innermost being.

1. Father, purge me of every filthiness and make my worship worthy before Your throne of grace and mercy, in the name of Jesus.

2. I shall not be a vain worshipper of Jehovah God, in the name of Jesus.

3. Spirit of true worship, possess my life, in the name of Jesus.

4. Fire of God, fine-tune my heart and my mouth and help me to give quality worship to God, in Jesus name.

5. Power to be qualified to stand in the holy hills of God, come upon me now, in the name of Jesus

6. I shall not be a cast away from God's presence, in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, let my worship ascend unto Your throne as a sweet-smelling aroma, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday 11th August 2025.

Still on the subject of pain, oftentimes, God takes His beloved through the furnace of affliction to shape them into usable vessels to Him. To you and the world, it is a question of why me? Where is God when it hurts? But you see, God is there, watching to see you get done through this process so that you can bring forth His glory. The world will marvel at your manifestation because of the fruit of godliness that you are manifesting through your character. It has happened to God's servants in the Bible and men of God around the world. We can see their rising out of the training school of God. You too can be one of them.

Moses went through God's training in the wilderness to polish his character and prepare him for the assignment - the deliverance of his people from slavery in Egypt at that time. He did not need the heart of a prince, but that of a shepherd to lead his people out of Egypt to the Promised Land. God needed to take out some things and input better character traits suitable for the job. The same goes for Joseph who had his training in Potiphar's house and in the prison before he got to the palace. Hannah learnt patience from the taunting of Peninah but she held on to God and got answer to her prayers. What of Apostle Paul? A man who cast away every physical achievement for the sake of the excellency of God's power.

When God is interested in you, He will do everything to bring out the best in your life. He will pull down, root out, plant and build in order to make you capable for the divine assignment. Do not despise your pain. Enjoy it because the end justifies the means. God knows what He wants from each of us. At the end, you are more beautiful in character than you can think of and God is pleased with you. Every child of God is a "work in progress", the final result is a better and greater you to His glory.

1. In the name of Jesus, I am coming out better and stronger from this painful situation, in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord, as I go through the furnace of afflictions today, let it produce in me the fruit of righteousness, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday 10th August 2025.

We are still looking at the beautiful side of pain and painful situations. To a baker, it does not come easy to bring out a beautiful cake. The dough must necessarily pass through the hot furnace. The goldsmith does a lot of heating and shaping with his tough instruments to bring about an attractive jewellery. In the same vein, it is not easy to bring out certain qualities in a man until there has been some levels of discomfort or pain.

Sometimes, the pain you are experiencing has nothing to do with your personal desire, rather, it is according to God's will for you at that particular time. This often comes with some degrees of discomfort because it is a situation you would not normally want to go through. An example is when the Lord decides to take you through a process of brokenness leading to a changed personality with godly habits, behaviours and more. A Christlike character that depicts nothing but godliness in every area of life and relationship with others. All in a bid to make you a true and sincere son or daughter of His The truth is that these credentials do not come about easily but through the rough edges of the heavenly scalpel, shaping you into what God wants you to be.

Remember, brother and sister, that God is the Potter and we are the clay. The Potter has the choice and absolute power to do whatever he desires with the clay. He can break it, remold and reshape the vessel many times until it comes to the final expression of His ultimate desire. This is God with you and I in the process of spiritual transformation, refining us in order to take the dross out of our lives to bring out the shining bright gold. Without this long suffering and seemingly painful process, a beautiful work of art, like sculpture, painting or even a well baked cake can never be gotten. So, allow Him to pass you through fiery furnace; the test of fire and the test of faith. This is the only way you can show Him that you are worthy of His salvation, and be beautiful for his glory.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday 9th August 2025.

Hannah went through the pain of barrenness. She cried to God and she eventually became a mother of many children. She sang and blessed the Lord in 1 Samuel chapter 2. Job experienced multiple losses, suffered illnesses, yet he clung to His Redeemer, our Redeemer! At the end, he got double of all he had lost, became a benefactor and prophet to his friends who humiliated him. Today's memory verse is one of the declarations of Job. It reminds us that life after the pain would be brighter and better than gold. In essence, at the time of trouble or pain, our faith is not only tried and tested, but also refined.

Joseph was another man who suffered as a result of envy and jealousy from his siblings; he got into slavery, was wrongly accused and imprisoned. For seventeen years, he went through the furnace of affliction but eventually became a Prime Minister.

Saul of Tarsus was a persecutor of God's people and a blasphemer of His word. He encountered Christ, became Paul and suffered so much persecutions and troubles. He became a transformed man through his experiences and encouraged us through his words in 2 Corinthians 4:17-18, "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

I counsel you also to look beyond the physical and focus on God, Who is working in you by the power of the Holy Spirit, to bring out the beauty in your pain. Do not forget that to have this awesome experience, you must become a true child of God. Surrender your life to Jesus Christ, confess your sins, repent and forsake them. Depart from self-sufficiency and decide to rely on God all the way. Pray for divine intervention and God will turn your pain to gain and make the end more beautiful than you can ever imagine.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday 8th August 2025.

This is a strange topic! Strange because many people, even Christians, do not often see the positive side of pain. Of a truth, it takes a spiritually discerning mind to get to this point. Pain is often seen as negative and assumed to be nothing but discomfort, emotional stress, sorrow and so on. Interestingly, pain comes alongside with the package of miracles and testimonies, oftentimes unseen. As humans, if only we can be patient with God, the beautiful side of pain would be manifested and we would bless God.

Imagine the pain of childbirth in women; the joy at the expectation of a newly born baby and an addition to the family is enough to make a woman endure the pain. If it were not for this kind of joyful expectation, no woman would desire the pain how much more endure it while it lasted. Surprisingly, in another few years, she would have forgotten the painful experience and would be ready to have another baby. This pain will come up again and the cycle continues. This is one of the beautiful sides of pain! This can only happen and be managed by the power of God. This is a mystery! The same thing happens when your pain is physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual. God is able to turn it to gain and make it beautiful at the end. And as you endure the pain under the management of the Holy Spirit, the beauty of it emerges.

What pain are you going through right now? Is it losses, abandonment, betrayal, physical, mental or emotional challenge? You can make gains out of it and at the end, your life becomes more beautiful than ever before. Pain helps to transform us and bring us to the reality of how weak and fragile we are. It takes courage to grow through pain. Today, God will help you if you would allow Him.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday 7th August 2025.

In continuation of the discourse on the word of God as an instrument of transformation; we shall be looking further into the power of the word to bring about spectacular changes in our lives. Jeremiah was a man that had various expressions for his experience of God’s words; at a time, he ate the word of the Lord and it was like honey in his mouth and a delight to his heart (Jer. 15:16). At another time, the word was like fire in his bones (Jer. 20:9). This same word was like dynamite that breaks rock (tough situations and makes them to yield to God). The word of God in your mouth is His power in you!

Moses counselled the children of Israel to ensure that the word of God is always in their mouth, and not filthy words. They were to meditate upon it day and night and do accordingly and the result is prosperity and good success. Do you want prosperity, do you desire good success? Then, covet to read, study and meditate upon the word of God. Be a doer and not a hearer only and all these blessings shall be yours without stress.

The word of God heals and wrought deliverance. In His days on earth, Jesus spoke many times to address sicknesses, diseases and demons that were making life unbearable for humans. Remember the centurion who was seeking healing for his child? Humbly, he told Jesus not to bother to come to his house, rather, He should speak a word and he believes his child would be healed. And as he spoke, so it happened; the word went ahead and healed. That was a great faith, and the power in the word of God. The Bible tells us that God sent His word and it heals them. Do you desire healing in His word? God is still active at doing the same today!

Psalm 119 has so much to tell us about the transforming power of God’s word. I counsel you to find time and read this whole Psalm. When you pray the word of God, you are proclaiming His word to Him and reminding Him of the promises in His word. God will forever exalt His word above His name (Ps. 138:2b).

MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday 6th August 2025.

Note that when we read the Bible with the accompanying presence and power of the Holy Spirit, you receive life. This experience does not happen when we read or study physical or secular books. These books contain ordinary information to help us in our daily affairs but not to give us life, even life eternal. Here, is the big difference between the words of man and the word of God.

The Word has been with God from the beginning, and the Word is God Himself, who manifested in the flesh through His Son, Jesus Christ; from eternity to humanity (John 1:1). This is another mystery! It means that the word of God in you is the presence and the power of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You definitely cannot remain the same if you carry such power within you.

At the manifestation of this word, you begin to encounter God in a new way and contrary things would definitely give way to the move of God's word, so that it can have His way in your life. It is an internal work of sanctification that results in external transformation. The word works from inside out! It touches the very fibre of your being. It circumcises your heart so deeply that your thoughts, will, intellect, words, behaviours and all, begin to experience a positive change which will be obvious in your outer life and relationships. It has a cutting power according to Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." It cuts from inside out! It is a sword, it is a discerner of thoughts.

This is the power in the word of God! It is the Truth and a revealer of truth against the lies of satan and other deceitful words of men. This word stands sure. It is settled in heaven! As a servant of God you are warned, and when you obey the word, there is great reward!

The words of men, whether written or spoken is majorly to inform us about something we don’t know or remind us of what we already know but need to be better informed about. At other times, it is to give us knowledge and fresh ideas about things we are ignorant of. That explains why you learn science and other disciplines at School to acquire a degree in any area you desire. However, the word of God goes beyond acquiring mere knowledge. Yes, it does all of the above as well, but much more. The word of God is not just an information but a weapon of deep wholesome transformation in our individual lives. As Christians, it is not an on the spot affair, but a continuous and ongoing process of transformation through life until death.

As recorded in the book of Genesis, God created the world by the power of His word. He spoke and things came into being as He called them forth. The entire process of creation was completed in six days and God rested on the seventh day. At each utterance of God, the Spirit of God incubated it for instant manifestation. Jesus is this spoken Word that later manifested in the flesh, our Saviour and Redeemer, according to the plan of God the Father. This is awesome!

Jesus said, the words that I speak unto you are spirit and life (John 6:63). They are not ordinary words. They carry power, invisible power to make things happen! This takes us beyond the level of information. The word feeds, nurtures, purges, purifies and maintains us, hence it gives us life. The Scriptures also tell us that the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. That is, when you read the Bible, you need the presence of the Holy Spirit to teach and reveal deep things to you about what you are reading. It is more than mere printed words or just any other book.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday 4th August 2025.

Let us continue from where we left off yesterday. You must learn to pray each day. In the morning, lift up your voice to Him and commit the day into His hands. Preferably, wake up before the children of the bond woman get up to pollute the spiritual realm with their incantations and take hold of the day by decreeing what you want to happen each day. It is the spiritual that controls the physical. It is spiritual negligence and a slap on Christians that those with godless gods get up diligently every day before us to take control of each day while we hug our pillows. That is how to command your morning. This way, you are confident that the day would yield joy and gladness to you, no matter the activity of contrary spirits and powers.

Remember, God is the Alpha and Omega, the One who knows the end from the beginning. He makes everything beautiful to conform to your convenience. With God, you are confident of your daily protection; you are protected from the arrow that flies by day and the destruction that walks at noonday. This can only be done by the Almighty. He watches over your going out and coming in, sustains and preserves you. These and more are the dividends of each day the Lord has made. It is fully packed and enveloped in His power and glory, all because you start each day with, and continue with His presence all around you.

Make a huge success out of your day, start with worshipping God, continue by the leading of the Holy Spirit and you will be able to fulfill and enjoy all the benefits of the day in the name of Jesus. Surrender your life to Jesus if you have not done so. Read and meditate on His word. Be a true worshipper; lift up your hands to worship and praise Him. Draw closer to the throne of grace always in prayer, as you ask for mercy and grace in time of need according to Hebrews 4:16.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday 3rd August 2025.

Today is a new day. Yesterday has gone. It would never come again. Tomorrow shall be another new day. As long as we live, there shall always be a new day. According to the scriptures, God is the Maker of each new day which is peculiar in its own way and never like yesterday. That is why it is called a new day because it is unique in every way. This shows the awesome power of God to make every day different from the previous or the next one. It will do you some good to sit back and ponder on this wonder working power of God, which by all means surpasses human abilities and comprehension. The only thing we can do is simply accept this divine manifestation and enjoy the richness of each day and its uniqueness.

Each day always comes with its unique divine package. The Psalmist tells us that God loads us daily with divine benefits, (Psalm 68:19). This implies that God knows our needs for each new day that unfolds. He is Omniscience and as such, He knows everything ahead of us and makes provisions for us to have enough and abundance. This is the portion of those who believe in Him and have confessed Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Such people never lack because the Jehovah Jireh is in charge. He has promised to lead us daily to the green pastures and the still waters. We are well nourished and refreshed under His leading and guidance. He also sets a table of good and glorious things before us. What a privilege to feed from the table of the Lord!

Beloved, all you have to do is to acknowledge that you cannot live your life all by yourself. You need divine guidance which is an assured privilege of every true child of God. Do not be deceived that others live and make something out of life. For you as a child of God, you sleep and wake with an assurance that every day is a day of rejoicing and gladness..

20. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God:.

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Light is the symbol of truth, of wisdom, of knowledge, of goodness, of hope, of joy, of love, of life, of God.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday 2nd August 2025.

Beloved, as a child of God, you are a child of the Light and not of darkness. You cannot operate in ignorance and you cannot walk as children of darkness now that you are born again. Paul said, "For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Ephesians 5:8-011). Rather, the light of God in you so shine before men that God may be glorified, (Matthew 5:16).

Jesus taught that as children of light, we should make a difference in this dark world through the illuminating power of God. The same thing was emphasized by the apostles, even Peter said, God has called us, Christians, out of darkness into His marvelous light. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy" (1 Peter 2:9-10).

The scriptural references above and more are pointers to the fact that just as darkness could not comprehend Jesus, the Light of the world, in the same vein, you and I should be unfathomable to this dark world, a mystery that is difficult to unravel. Therefore, you must do all to avoid anything that can bring darkness into your life. Submit to God and resist the devil! Embrace the Holy Spirit and let His fire continually burn in you. Have nothing to do with the devil, the world and its vanities. Be a Christian with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Keep reading, meditating and living in accordance with the word of God, and pray fervently against the enemy of the light of God in you. Having done all, be sober and be vigilant.

MFM Daily Prayer Points 2nd August 2025

𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆

1. By the grace of God, I shall be the bright light that shines in the darkness in my family, in the name of Jesus.

2. My light shall not be dimmed or quenched, in the name of Jesus.

3. Wherever the soles of my feet shall touch, darkness shall disappear from there, in the name of Jesus.

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆

4. As darkness could not comprehend Jesus, let not my enemies be able to comprehend me, in the name of Jesus.

5. As darkness cannot overcome light. let not my enemies be able to overcome me, in the name of Jesus.

6. Whatever is making the light of God in me not to shine brightly for all to see, die today, in the name of Jesus.

7. As darkness gives way to light, let my enemies give way before me, in the name of Jesus.
