MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday 7th August 2025.

In continuation of the discourse on the word of God as an instrument of transformation; we shall be looking further into the power of the word to bring about spectacular changes in our lives. Jeremiah was a man that had various expressions for his experience of God’s words; at a time, he ate the word of the Lord and it was like honey in his mouth and a delight to his heart (Jer. 15:16). At another time, the word was like fire in his bones (Jer. 20:9). This same word was like dynamite that breaks rock (tough situations and makes them to yield to God). The word of God in your mouth is His power in you!

Moses counselled the children of Israel to ensure that the word of God is always in their mouth, and not filthy words. They were to meditate upon it day and night and do accordingly and the result is prosperity and good success. Do you want prosperity, do you desire good success? Then, covet to read, study and meditate upon the word of God. Be a doer and not a hearer only and all these blessings shall be yours without stress.

The word of God heals and wrought deliverance. In His days on earth, Jesus spoke many times to address sicknesses, diseases and demons that were making life unbearable for humans. Remember the centurion who was seeking healing for his child? Humbly, he told Jesus not to bother to come to his house, rather, He should speak a word and he believes his child would be healed. And as he spoke, so it happened; the word went ahead and healed. That was a great faith, and the power in the word of God. The Bible tells us that God sent His word and it heals them. Do you desire healing in His word? God is still active at doing the same today!

Psalm 119 has so much to tell us about the transforming power of God’s word. I counsel you to find time and read this whole Psalm. When you pray the word of God, you are proclaiming His word to Him and reminding Him of the promises in His word. God will forever exalt His word above His name (Ps. 138:2b).

1. I receive direction in life by the divine compass of God’s word, in the name of Jesus.

2. At the entrances of God’s word, let every manifestation of darkness in my life vanish, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday 6th August 2025.

Note that when we read the Bible with the accompanying presence and power of the Holy Spirit, you receive life. This experience does not happen when we read or study physical or secular books. These books contain ordinary information to help us in our daily affairs but not to give us life, even life eternal. Here, is the big difference between the words of man and the word of God.

The Word has been with God from the beginning, and the Word is God Himself, who manifested in the flesh through His Son, Jesus Christ; from eternity to humanity (John 1:1). This is another mystery! It means that the word of God in you is the presence and the power of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You definitely cannot remain the same if you carry such power within you.

At the manifestation of this word, you begin to encounter God in a new way and contrary things would definitely give way to the move of God's word, so that it can have His way in your life. It is an internal work of sanctification that results in external transformation. The word works from inside out! It touches the very fibre of your being. It circumcises your heart so deeply that your thoughts, will, intellect, words, behaviours and all, begin to experience a positive change which will be obvious in your outer life and relationships. It has a cutting power according to Hebrews 4:12, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." It cuts from inside out! It is a sword, it is a discerner of thoughts.

This is the power in the word of God! It is the Truth and a revealer of truth against the lies of satan and other deceitful words of men. This word stands sure. It is settled in heaven! As a servant of God you are warned, and when you obey the word, there is great reward!

MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday 5th August 2025.

The words of men, whether written or spoken is majorly to inform us about something we don’t know or remind us of what we already know but need to be better informed about. At other times, it is to give us knowledge and fresh ideas about things we are ignorant of. That explains why you learn science and other disciplines at School to acquire a degree in any area you desire. However, the word of God goes beyond acquiring mere knowledge. Yes, it does all of the above as well, but much more. The word of God is not just an information but a weapon of deep wholesome transformation in our individual lives. As Christians, it is not an on the spot affair, but a continuous and ongoing process of transformation through life until death.

As recorded in the book of Genesis, God created the world by the power of His word. He spoke and things came into being as He called them forth. The entire process of creation was completed in six days and God rested on the seventh day. At each utterance of God, the Spirit of God incubated it for instant manifestation. Jesus is this spoken Word that later manifested in the flesh, our Saviour and Redeemer, according to the plan of God the Father. This is awesome!

Jesus said, the words that I speak unto you are spirit and life (John 6:63). They are not ordinary words. They carry power, invisible power to make things happen! This takes us beyond the level of information. The word feeds, nurtures, purges, purifies and maintains us, hence it gives us life. The Scriptures also tell us that the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. That is, when you read the Bible, you need the presence of the Holy Spirit to teach and reveal deep things to you about what you are reading. It is more than mere printed words or just any other book.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday 4th August 2025.

Let us continue from where we left off yesterday. You must learn to pray each day. In the morning, lift up your voice to Him and commit the day into His hands. Preferably, wake up before the children of the bond woman get up to pollute the spiritual realm with their incantations and take hold of the day by decreeing what you want to happen each day. It is the spiritual that controls the physical. It is spiritual negligence and a slap on Christians that those with godless gods get up diligently every day before us to take control of each day while we hug our pillows. That is how to command your morning. This way, you are confident that the day would yield joy and gladness to you, no matter the activity of contrary spirits and powers.

Remember, God is the Alpha and Omega, the One who knows the end from the beginning. He makes everything beautiful to conform to your convenience. With God, you are confident of your daily protection; you are protected from the arrow that flies by day and the destruction that walks at noonday. This can only be done by the Almighty. He watches over your going out and coming in, sustains and preserves you. These and more are the dividends of each day the Lord has made. It is fully packed and enveloped in His power and glory, all because you start each day with, and continue with His presence all around you.

Make a huge success out of your day, start with worshipping God, continue by the leading of the Holy Spirit and you will be able to fulfill and enjoy all the benefits of the day in the name of Jesus. Surrender your life to Jesus if you have not done so. Read and meditate on His word. Be a true worshipper; lift up your hands to worship and praise Him. Draw closer to the throne of grace always in prayer, as you ask for mercy and grace in time of need according to Hebrews 4:16.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Sunday 3rd August 2025.

Today is a new day. Yesterday has gone. It would never come again. Tomorrow shall be another new day. As long as we live, there shall always be a new day. According to the scriptures, God is the Maker of each new day which is peculiar in its own way and never like yesterday. That is why it is called a new day because it is unique in every way. This shows the awesome power of God to make every day different from the previous or the next one. It will do you some good to sit back and ponder on this wonder working power of God, which by all means surpasses human abilities and comprehension. The only thing we can do is simply accept this divine manifestation and enjoy the richness of each day and its uniqueness.

Each day always comes with its unique divine package. The Psalmist tells us that God loads us daily with divine benefits, (Psalm 68:19). This implies that God knows our needs for each new day that unfolds. He is Omniscience and as such, He knows everything ahead of us and makes provisions for us to have enough and abundance. This is the portion of those who believe in Him and have confessed Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Such people never lack because the Jehovah Jireh is in charge. He has promised to lead us daily to the green pastures and the still waters. We are well nourished and refreshed under His leading and guidance. He also sets a table of good and glorious things before us. What a privilege to feed from the table of the Lord!

Beloved, all you have to do is to acknowledge that you cannot live your life all by yourself. You need divine guidance which is an assured privilege of every true child of God. Do not be deceived that others live and make something out of life. For you as a child of God, you sleep and wake with an assurance that every day is a day of rejoicing and gladness..

1. Father Lord, I thank and worship You for You are the Maker of each day, I enter into the joy and gladness of this day, in the name of Jesus.

3. Every agenda of wickedness for this day, be crushed and be destroyed, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Saturday 2nd August 2025.

Beloved, as a child of God, you are a child of the Light and not of darkness. You cannot operate in ignorance and you cannot walk as children of darkness now that you are born again. Paul said, "For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. (Ephesians 5:8-011). Rather, the light of God in you so shine before men that God may be glorified, (Matthew 5:16).

Jesus taught that as children of light, we should make a difference in this dark world through the illuminating power of God. The same thing was emphasized by the apostles, even Peter said, God has called us, Christians, out of darkness into His marvelous light. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy" (1 Peter 2:9-10).

The scriptural references above and more are pointers to the fact that just as darkness could not comprehend Jesus, the Light of the world, in the same vein, you and I should be unfathomable to this dark world, a mystery that is difficult to unravel. Therefore, you must do all to avoid anything that can bring darkness into your life. Submit to God and resist the devil! Embrace the Holy Spirit and let His fire continually burn in you. Have nothing to do with the devil, the world and its vanities. Be a Christian with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. Keep reading, meditating and living in accordance with the word of God, and pray fervently against the enemy of the light of God in you. Having done all, be sober and be vigilant.

1. By the grace of God, I shall be the bright light that shines in the darkness in my family, in the name of Jesus.

2. My light shall not be dimmed or quenched, in the name of Jesus.

3. Wherever the soles of my feet shall touch, darkness shall disappear from there, in the name of Jesus.

4. As darkness could not comprehend Jesus, let not my enemies be able to comprehend me, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Friday 1st August 2025.

The scriptures have so much to say about the Light. Our memory verse states clearly that God is Light. No darkness can be found in Him because the light has the power to overshadow and subdue darkness at all times. At the manifestation of light, darkness will disappear. Imagine you light a candle in a place, no matter how big the place is, there is an illumination of light that breaks the thickness of darkness. Evil powers operate and thrive in darkness. On the opposite side, God and His children enjoy the light and operate in the light. Darkness must neither be found in you nor have any expression in your life or around you.

God is the Light stated in the scriptures. Jesus Christ is the life that gives light to men, according to John 1:4. By this, it means a person is dead or is a walking corpse when he or she does not have Christ in his life. Darkness therefore signifies death as far as God is concerned. The Bible goes further to say that the Light shines in darkness but darkness could not comprehend it. Simply put, the presence of His glory is beyond the comprehension of the ordinary man. Only spiritual men understand spiritual things, carnal men cannot because they do not have the mind of God. Jesus is the Word of God that dwells in God and gives life to men by His Spirit. This is the mystery of the Trinity! Whoever does not know God through His Son, Jesus, and have the Holy Spirit resident in him or her is still in the dark and cannot understand the manifestation of the Light.

This explains why many people today are spiritual illiterates because they lack spiritual understanding and cannot discern between light and darkness in that they are spiritually blind and shortsighted. Thank God for the Psalmist who wrote," The entrance of thy words giveth light; It giveth understanding unto the simple" (Ps 119:130). This is the power of the Light to illuminate the mind of men, dispel ignorance which is a weapon of darkness that holds men captive, and give them the ability to discern and know the Truth.

1. As darkness could not comprehend Jesus, I too become a mystery that the enemy cannot unravel, in the name of Jesus.

2. O Lord, destroy all works of darkness in my life, in the name of Jesus.

3. Holy Spirit, beam Your searchlight and reveal areas of my life that need Your touch, in the name of Jesus..

MFM Daily Devotional Message Thursday 31st July 2025.

During His earthly ministry, Jesus gave several admonitions to encourage His disciples (and that includes us). One of such words of wisdom is that anyone whoever receives the man or woman He sends receives Him and the Father who sent Him. He added that whoever recognizes, receives and honours a prophet in the name of a prophet will get the prophet's reward. The prophet's reward refers to the eternal rewards credited to the prophet's account because of his service to God. Every time you receive and support a prophet, heaven will credit both the prophet's account and yours.

The widow of Zarephath got a request that she found difficult to meet from Elijah. Nevertheless, at the risk of her life and her son's, she obliged. Because the widow obeyed Elijah, she and her son enjoyed supernatural supply and didn't lack food throughout the duration of the famine. Why? It was because she surrendered or offered her little first to God's servant and heaven multiplied it. Take time to find out a need in the life of your pastor or minister. Sow a seed into his or her life to meet that need; you will get the prophet's reward. Note also that the prophet's reward is not limited to physical rewards on earth, but it includes rewards in eternity.

Prophet Elisha also made a woman enjoy the prophet's reward for her hospitality. Elisha was always passing through Shunem and the Shunammite woman told her husband that she perceived that Elisha was a holy man of God. She suggested that they provide him shelter and food each time he came to town. The husband agreed and the woman took good care of Elisha and his servant, Gehazi. One day, Elisha thought it was time he rewarded the woman for her hospitality. He suggested mentioning her honourably to the king or the captain of the host, but she said it was not necessary. Then Gehazi drew the attention of Elisha to the fact that she had no child. When Elisha sent for her, he decreed fruitfulness into her life, "About the season, according to time of life, thou shalt embrace a son..." That marked the end of her barrenness.

Beloved, are you sensitive to the needs of others around you? As you attend to all such within your capacity you shall receive the prophet's reward, in the name of Jesus.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Wednesday 30th July 2025.

As we proceed in the second half of the year, it is very important that we examine an issue that is very dear to the heart of God- our bodies as vessels of honor unto God, His habitation.

The Bible calls our bodies, the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), a vessel of honor (2 Timothy 2:21) a living sacrifice that is holy and acceptable unto God (Romans 12:1). Whichever way you see yourself, it is very important that you keep it clean, so that the Holy Spirit will be happy to accommodate the temple and utilize the vessel.

Look at it this way: if you were served food in a filthy plate full of worms, would you eat the food? If you were invited into a dirty smelly room crawling with rats, cockroaches and unwashed plates, would you sleep there? It is the same with the Holy Spirit.

How is your personal life? Are you still into fornication, adultery, sexual immorality? What are you doing about that tendency to defraud, embezzle or steal under any guise? What have you done about that drinking or smoking or hard drug problem? What about gossiping, lies, malice, anger, unforgiving spirit?

Beloved, for you to maximize the blessings God has in store for you this year, you must take a good look at your life and take a bold step to amend your ways where necessary. Be determined to be in right standing with God; position yourself in the centre of His will. When you trust and obey Him completely, He will give you days of heaven on earth. Focus on what joy it gives to God when you please Him and the riches of His glory that He showers on those who do. I prophesy that this year be a spiritually rewarding one for you.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Tuesday 29th July 2025.

Often times, I hear people say that their existence is irrelevant because something tangible has never come out of their lives. No life is created for nothing. God has a thought in mind before you were created. Your life wasn't accidental even if your conception seems like one. You are not an addition to world population but a positive change to your generation. Rahab was a harlot yet she stood up through faith to deliver her household from the destruction of Jericho and later became the great, great grandmother of our Lord Jesus. That your today is marred does not mean your future is dead.

Today, many young people are living in the deception of satan, thinking that nothing good can ever happen in their lives anymore. Your life cannot stop until you stop breathing. God is always happy to make a message out of a mess and turn a failure to success. You might be smoking and drinking, addicted to drugs, practicing same sex or totally buried in fornication despite your youthful stage; yet it doesn't change the fact that God can still transform you into what he has pictured you to be if only you can accept His son, Jesus, to wash away your sin.

Saul was a murderer, yet God used him for His glory and he became hero of faith. Peter was an illiterate, a sinner and an ordinary fisherman, but Jesus transformed him and made him his foremost apostle. Your best years are ahead never behind. You are a content in a container going to a continent to deliver. You are never a mistake but a miracle. Start telling yourself that regardless of what has happened, you are still useful to God and not useless.

MFM Daily Devotional Message Monday 28th July 2025.

Christian Parenting involves instilling godly values in the lives of children. However, one challenge in parenting today is double standard. Another is the fact that many parents do not live the kind of lifestyle their children can imitate. Often times, parents desire their children to be teachable and live a life worthy of emulation. Hardly will you find a parent who wants their children to end up becoming a deviant. Research reveal that teenagers all over the world regardless of their colour, race and sex learn naturally by the lifestyle and actions of their parents. They rarely hear what you say, but see all you do. Why? Teenagers learn more from what they see than what they are told. You should not tell them to do a thing and you do the reverse. Make sure your words and action match for you to be a Godly example.

In Romans 2:21, apostie Paul asked a question, "Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? Thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?" The word 'teaching' according to the book of this verse, transcends mere words of mouth and instructions but an exemplary lifestyle being lived by the parents. Unfortunately, many parents live contrary to what they say. Decide to make a change in case you are guilty of such.

It reminds me of a story of a man that was always sending his son to buy alcohol for him. A day came when the father caught his son sipping the leftover of the alcohol. He got infuriated and almost beat the boy to stupor. It took the intervention of neighbours who rescued the boy. Though he never wanted his son to drink, yet he always sent the boy to buy it for him. That was double standard and hypocrisy, which teenagers find confusing.

Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." What you do becomes a principle for living for your children and naturally defines their lifestyle. I pray that the Lord will empower you to train your children and not lead them astray, in Jesus name.

1. Father, make me a role model to all children, teenagers and youths, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, give me the wisdom to succeed in parenting, in the name of Jesus.

3. Powers that want me to fail as a parent, die now, in the name of Jesus.

4. I receive the grace to succeed in parenting, in the name of Jesus

5. Holy Spirit empower me to be a godly parent, in the name of Jesus.

6. My children shall call me blessed, in the name of Jesus.

7. I receive the grace to please heaven and to raise godly children, in the name of Jesus.
